Solitaire Quest: Love Blossoms combines the fun of solitaire with hidden object levels to tell a tale of a heartwarming romance.
Gameplay & Features
Setting options in game include picking your card designs, audio controls, fullscreen or windowed, turning the tutorial on or off, cursor options and language selections. You can have multiple save profiles. There is a diary which tells a story that unlocks as you play and in-game achievements (also through Steam as well). Gameplay is your standard solitaire game with boosters you can earn to help clear levels. Level hazards are your usual fire cards, ice cards, rock and vine traps and key and padlocks just to name a few. I did not find the game unbalanced but chose to play in relaxed mode. You can change difficulties at any time between levels. Features * 200 levels of solitaire mixed with hidden object levels to mix things up * Upbeat tropical music to accompany the feel of being on a tropical vacation * Difficulty options include normal, timed, relaxed or challenge * Earn flower crystals in-game to buy decor for your store (multiple options per item) that you can rotate through to change the look at any time once purchased * You can buy boosters to help you per level through the booster shop. You can also earn boosters as a reward. There are 8 boosters in total, such as wild cards, jokers, undo’s, shuffles and more. * You get boosters as in-game rewards by achieving in-game achievements. Tips * You cannot farm crystals by replaying already played levels. The crystal flowers do not re-spawn. * You can jump back into past levels at any time to look for missed gnomes. Once found just hit ESC and go to the map to continue on to un-played levels. * Boosters you buy that you do not use are saved into your inventory. * Boosters go up in price every time you buy them (up to a max of 350 coins), this price does not reset per level. So be mindful of buying jokers and wilds as they can get costly. Only buy them when really needed. * A hidden gnome will appear in some select solitaire levels AND in each hidden object level so keep your eyes peeled (100 to collect in all) Shortcomings One issue that would crop up now and then (and became more consistent later in game) was the last few cards in the draw pile would not respond to clicking. I found changing the cursor from the in-game cursor to the regular mouse cursor helped a bit. For windowed mode it is a set size even if you put further commands in the properties menu. The size that it reverts to is small, uncomfortably small for a widescreen monitor. I am hoping we can get the ability to resize the window to our desired size or more resolution options are put into the game in a later update. Full screen looks okay, it is not stretched and you will see black bars on either side. I found the full screen to be a bit big but preferable over the small windowed mode. At the moment the achievements through Steam are not working for me (even in the live version). But they do work in-game.
Overall Experience
Overall the game is fun, a nice mix of solitaire levels and hidden object scenes. You don’t actually get to decorate your store in terms of placing furniture or items but rather you unlock items already placed in three different colour schemes. You will obtain all items in at least one colour variation by level 85 or so and from that point all earned crystals will go towards unlocking the rest of the colours. And as you unlock items (or variations of those items) a story will be told between upgrades. The story is predictable but I do like that the game does have a story ongoing as you play, and the artwork itself is well done. 🌴 My review has been edited for corrections. Just when I thought that there would never be another solitaire game on Steam, what would the Curator Spatula Of Fate slide under my door? You're not going to believe this, but it's a solitaire game! Sweet. It just so happens that I recently got a really good deal on a collaborative AI, and though it was designed for monster truck shows, I think it can still help me write, and really speed up the process, so let's give it a spin! Solitaire Quest: Love Blossoms is very much in the style of the Jewel Match solitaires. 200 LEVELS OF PURE SOLITAIRE MAYHEM!! No problem, no problem. Bit of a learning curve with the AI. Cutting edge tech, and all that. I guess it's the future. Your aunt THREE TONS OF STEEL LIVING FOR MAYHEM AND OBLIVION!! ...your aunt invites you to work at her flower shop, which means playing solitaire for tokens, and using the tokens to furnish the flower shop. You have your usual high/low solitaire with barriers like ice, vines, and locks, much as you are likely used to. Power ups are available, but though they are cheap, they are also single use. LIKE YOUR MOTHER!! Gonna tinker with these settings here... ok? hmm. how about now... Long ago, in a time all but forgotten except for being remembered, lived a woman. On a small tropical island surrounded by various types of water, she started a flower shop in order to get people to play solitaire. Many answered the call, only to find that it was about their extended vehicle warranty. Others however, played the solitaire. Played it and found it good. It is these people who we keep in our hearts, our clubs, and even our diamonds... whom we keep? Whome, hoom whoom? Whatever. Anyway. Solitaire Quest: Love Blossoms is a perfectly fine solitaire game to add to the no doubt big-ass pile you have if you're a solitaire player. If you're not, why not start a pile. Besides, these devs are Ukrainian, and boy could they use a break these days.

Mysterious link
LOVE WORKS FAST IN TROPICAL AISLES
Solitaire Quest: Love Blossoms hits the mark for me! Although the features are the same as in Solitaire Quest: Garden Story, they did add a Hidden Gnome (100 total) in some of the scenes, which was a fun little side Quest! After completing the game, I was disappointed to discover that I had missed a few of the gnomes...but delighted to discover that I could return to the scenes to search for the missing Gnomes, click on the gnome, and then exit out without having to replay the hand! There are 200 levels that can be played in a Relaxed, Normal, Timed, or Challenge Mode. There are 15 in-game Achievements, but unfortunately, no Steam Achievements. You can choose from two Font Sizes and 3 Card Graphics, but the cards weren't very Flowery. There is a progressing story about your Aunt's Blossoming Love, but honestly, it was a predictable story that even your Aunt should have seen coming! There are several Obstacles available, such as Frozen Cards that need to be played twice, Ivy Cards that require Garden Shear Cards, Root Covered Cards that require playing all Axe Cards, Padlocked Cards that require Key Cards, Fire Cards that require dousing with Watering Can Cards, and Wax Seal Cards & Wax Seal Cards of Specific Suits that require you to play red & black or suit specific Cards to remove the seals. As you progress, a whole slew of obstacles are thrown into levels to make them quite challenging! This is a very lengthy game, especially if you are like me and replay the levels until you get a perfect score, removing all cards from the deck. I definitely recommend this game if you are a Higher/Lower Solitaire fan. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1541700575
do you wonder why the steam achievements for this game were solved only by 2,8% of players ? the answer is - cause the devs, despite promiss didn't fix them since summer 2024. so buy this solitaire only if you don't care for the steam achievements. otherwise - stay away.
Very good game like the previous one, it would be nice if the music played in a loop and didn't stop in the middle of a game.
This is very similar to the classic tri-peaks variant of solitaire. You discard cards from multiple piles, with each card being exactly one step higher or lower than the last face-up discard pile, ignoring suite. It's very competently done; it looks pleasant, sounds pleasant, and the UI works well both for mouse, touchpad, or touch screen. BUT: tripeaks solitaire is one of the least strategic forms of solitaire and I've never seen the appeal. Give me freecell or spider any day. Furthermore, there are so many free solitaire implementations out there. I struggle to see the point of paying for this one, esp. since it features exactly one type of solitaire, and one of the less fun versions at that. That said, I can't quite bring my self to thumbs down, as it's well done, just not for me. People who like tri-peaks and don't mind paying for a well-done experience should be happy with this. But if there was a "meh" option, that's 100% what I would pick.
