Pros : 1. It is a re-incarnation of SolForge - in my opinion the Best card game existed so far. Unique mechanics of battle manaless; 2. Nice intro, Campaign, Dynamic interface; 3. Somekind of battlepass added > Though I find it extremely usless, and unnecessary. Will give more words on it in Cons. 4. Daily tasks are okay. But also seem unnecessary to me. Cons : 1. I was not able to change my decks >> Is it possible at all?!?! 1a. If this is not allowed than the game just does not have any sence (!). There should be plenty mechanics which we should explore solely - and without personal deck building we could not achieve this. 3. The new end cycle ability seem completely unnecessary to me > as it does not do much, but significantly complicates ending the cycle. I can remember the huge pace of battles in the SolForge original, and in the current version I kind of does not feel that... If this is possible : could you postpone adding it in future patches ? 3a. I could not expect more that you bring back the ability to freely build full decks on any mechanics after some moderate grinding. Instead of offering another selling game : where one can just pay to win. 4. It is better to bring more challenges where we could get some new cards, possily some reds, and build new decks around their mechanics. Anyway : looking forward to your further development. Hope this time the project would succeed, as it deserves! Good luck, guys. --------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE from 26.01.27 : 1. I cannot change decks with cards I get from boxes. 2. The cosmetics for the usual blue cards ARE COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY -> After they are applied they only disturb way too much from the gameplay. 3. Tasks are based on the decks I currently have, including temporary ones which were given to my by the game. And the tasks insist I play some of them today. 4 of 6 tasks force me to do something. And all I really want is playing MY CARDS, mixing them in the way I THINK IT WOULD BENEFIT TO DECK STRENGHT, and grinding Silver for the rarest cards to finish the deck BY JUST PLAYING MY COLLECTION, and match it with others' collections. 4. The inability to grind currency by just playing effectively, and inability to change decks between battles throw away all the expected fun. ;( 5. The game tries to sell me stuff I cannot currently use. ^^ In it's current state the game is unplayable for me, so I changed the recommendation state. ** I am going to update review once building decks by oneself would become allowed. Preferably buying cards on their own should also be possible, as when you need one red card > grinding gold for buying hundreds of packs to get it does not sound as a pleasant time spended. --------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE from 26.01.31 : Yesterday played a PvP game vs a deck which seemed to have full synergy on health draining : Many red, and gold cards on using the mechanic. I have been playing with one of temporary deck (it is called Tundra) which has almost no synergy on any mechanic involved (spell damage, dinosaur sinergy, uranti, defender invoking, beasts, and I think there were others). Little I could say if I mention that I have lost the game. There is no chance one can stand against such synergised decks with any mixes of given predefined decks WITHOUT ability to modify own collections card by card! ^^ I expect this person have just bought such imba deck, and had no problems crushing anyone who have not done the same. >> If I was able to build my deck by hand I would still loose, but I would be also able to buy specific cards, and have vivid thoughts on improving what I have. I could think of 2 options : a) Dublicating his deck to feel its strengths; b) Maybe apply some modifications to my current deck mechanics to overcome his strong sides. * All I was thinking after this match up is deleting the game completely, and returning after a year or so, to see if it was finally rebuilt, or abandoned like the previous incarnation. ** I have left the game installed, and with all my hope awaiting that you make THIS ONE change Sooner, and not Later. (I sincerely beg you, to give this game a Full Phoenix Reburth it deserves (!) ) --------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE from 26.03.16 : * Bug : When a creature have more than one active ability game ALLOWes to use only one. (How to replicate : use Tempys mage 3-7 (don't remember the name), And use the Free spell on giving 3 atack, and mobility (don't rememnter the name). Than you could only either move, or raise attack, after one action card becomes unclicable.) ______________ UPDATE from 22.04.31 : ------------------------ The deckBuying, and deckBuilding process is total garbage. 1. I can buy - ONLY RANDOM DECK. 2. When I do so - the randomizer is extremely poor. I have bought 6 tempys decks in a row, and I've received 6 decks with Sunder hero, and cards alike one-another. 3. The naming of these decks does not make sence at all, as the differences in a couple of cards, and the mechanics are realized poor as well. (I could instantly think of a couple of cards which can fit better, or even the other way, but the game does not allow to change a thing) 4. I currently have 7 Sunder tempys decks 5 of which are completely useless. ** Resume : I have played enough of this beta-version. And could come back only in case fully customized card by card deck-building would be available, as well as buying specific cards which I want for my decks. The game kills the interest of creating, editing, and collecting decks card after card, based on specific mechanics by Player solely. Using brain, and creativity. There is not point in playing the game until this update IS DONE.

first it was an app. that got canceled. then it was a physical kickstarter game. now its full circle, back to an app!
too unbalanced for me
They took one of my favorite games of all time and made it objectively unfun. You cannot customize your deck. Instead you have to fuse two crummy decks together to make a bigger, even more crummy deck. Combat tempo is now way off. Instead of choosing when to battle now it just happens after both lay your two cards in alternating order. So there is no 'taking the hit and setting up the board to be better afterwards'. Instead of nuanced combat choices it just feels like a slug fest. Want to sac your creatures and bring in new hitters? Nope, you can't do that anymore either. You are forced to play over your creatures or not play at all. Spell timing is a thing of the past. Creatures don't really appears to have the same leveling arch choices. There is no 'long game strat' since the game ends after the the fourth reshuffle based on life total. Did you like leveling things, playing defensively, and then going for a blow out win at the end? Too bad. That style of play just isn't a thing anymore.
I played the original Solforge and had almost 1k hours in it. I was sad when it went down. I was ecstatic so when I saw sol forge fusion. This game is pathetic when compared to the original Solforge. Judging the game by its self on its own merit is equally abysmal. The "hybrid deck" mechanic is; you get a booster pack, all of the cards with in that booster pack are permanently tied together. All the booster packs are like this. You take two of these tied together booster packs, smush them together to make a deck to play with. This mechanic is intentionally designed to elicit maximum frustration and aggravation to encice the purchase of more micro transactions. You will get packs with no synergy, cohesion, or just generally weak. You might get lucky enough to get a powerful card but the rest of the pack has cards that are anti synergy and detrimental to its self. The main mechanic of "hybrid deck game" is the most egregious, but there is also bog standard crap like micro transactions, battle passes, one time use items to entice you into spending. Would not recommend. Update after forcing my self to try and play some more in hopes of giving it a fair chance. The UI is a buggy mess. It is Slow and unresponsive, There is a hard time selecting cards, hard time selecting lanes. If you get to many triggered abilities at once that require a decision or input most the time they poof with out any response some times it shows the trigger needing to be made but not allowing it to be applied and then just ends the chain. I have had some instances where its just a normal turn and cant even play the one card with nothing else going on, to fix I usually have to exit to the home screen and reload the match.
I really can't say enough about the game at the moment, I'm still soaking up the mechanics of the game. Thank you to the developers for providing a much needed training/campaign this game is loads of fun.
New to the game, but I've played a few hours of games in real life using the physical cards as well. It's fun--a lot of the old Solforge energy. It's a lane-based card game with a very simple deckbuilding mechanic that makes the game feel more like gameplay matters more than chasing rares. It's not necessarily ACTUALLY true (finding better deck-halves makes a different), but playing with random decks or randomly fused decks from your collection makes it pretty close. Fun so far!

Game is ok. The monetization of the game is horrible. The campaign basically forces you to use gold just to attempt to beat the first campaign and you don't get enough gold to actually buy any afterwards. They give you free potions and force you to use them on the first battle that you don't actually need them for. You have to spend money on the game before you even learn the game properly and to see if its even worth investing into. Typical money grab slop where they want your money but don't care about the user experience. The AI(what the enemy chooses to do and triggers) is really slow. You have to wait 10-15 seconds just for 1 of their triggers to go off. I don't like the idea of having to fuse decks. I have so many cards that can synergize with each other but you can't make your own deck, have to fuse 2 premade decks together that have some synergy but you can see you can make a better deck
Well....that ain't it. I dowloaded it thinling it is the successor to the good old Solforge. It has the same level up mechanics, but boy was I disappointed with everything else. You can't create custom decks. You can't sit down, look at all your cards and test different strategies. All you can do is buy pre-built decks and fuse two of them together, with all of their cards. That takes completely away the strategy part of deck building. It's like literally buying two starter decks in Yugioh, slapping them together and then going on to play. I'm sorry, but this isn't Solforge at all. Even as a standalone game with a different name it would be mediocre at best. There's no fun in just praying you get lucky during combat and drawing cards that synergize.
