the visuals are pretty poor, and it's obviously much more money grabby that the previous one. I can't customize my deck, but you expect me to name it. and you take me into the store to hold my hand through buying things from the start. wow this is gross. uninstalling

Very fun game. The special part is each of your card sets is fixed so you are not free to combine what you like. This forces you to try different combinations of card sets.

I think the idea for this game is rather neat - the fact you only deckbuild using two half-decks is restrictive, yes, and leads to some cards in your deck being far less useful than others, but this also simplifies deckbuilding which can make it more approachable for someone who isn't as invested in card games. ... what I don't like about this game is that it seems to be held together with duct tape and a prayer. I managed to (somehow, I don't even know how) engineer a situation in the PvE mode where I am essentially softlocked - whenever I end my turn, the game freezes, starts gobbling up a ton of memory, and eventually Windows prompts me to close the game. This is all just from me playing normally. And that's before getting into how the resolution of multiple "enters play" effects can be utterly nonsensical. I've only played PvE so far, and that has some fairly interesting modifications to the rules in some fights. One such enemy has an effect which states that "whenever a creature enters, it fights an enemy directly opposing it, if possible." Why is it, then, that the game checks whether my creature enters unopposed AFTER it's already fought and destroyed the opposing creature? It didn't enter unopposed, yet it's still giving me the benefit! That doesn't make any sense at all! ... look, to be a bit more positive, I do think the game has some promise if the technical issues and arbitrary effect ordering is resolved, but until then, I cannot recommend this game in good faith. If cards and effects don't resolve in an understandable fashion, or the game can just freeze and crash, it's probably not worth your time.
With my 3.2 hrs of gaming, I gotta say its ayt and a breather from playing other Card games. Kinda need a free expansion tho.
