About
From the creators of Solasta: Crown of the Magister comes another intriguing tactical RPG faithful to the world's most popular TTRPG's ruleset.

Create and guide your party of 4 adventurers as they head to the faraway continent of Neokos in a quest driven by their family legacy. In the face of the threat by the ancient and enigmatic Shadwyn, what choices will you make to push back the impending tide of corruption?
Solasta II is a grand sequel to Solasta: Crown of the Magister, a much beloved Tactical RPG known for its faithfulness to the Tabletop experience. Decades after defeating the Sorak menace, a new flegdling party of heroes travels to distant lands in search for redemption.

Solasta II remains true to its promise to deliver gameplay based on the world's most popular TTRPG. Prepare your spells, land that sneak attack, smite this monster - bathe in the familiarity of your Tabletop experience.
But that's not all Solasta II will have to offer. This new opus will also allow you to freely roam the lands of Neokos, to explore and uncover the map as you will. Whether you stick to familiar roads, or head off into the wilderness... The choice is yours. Just be careful - because as we've always said...
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.

This game is great. It plays with the DnD ruleset and I like the slow moving adventure. To be honest, it reminds me of the 1st Baldur's Gate instead of the 3rd. 5E sucks anyway, I wish they would bring Alignment back but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I also wish more background interactions existed in the city. The tavern is bland and you can't interact with the background character's walking around. I hope they add the pickpocket mechanic and more stuff to interact with. It's cool so far and leaves me wanting more especially with the lack of store inventory. Worth a try, I say buy.
Uhm - apparently you cannot create a male character in this game? Had to uninstall it before it began. I get that it's early access but how can this not be in the game?

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A little disappointed after 3 months. I still get stuck when heavy-crossbow-push a basilisk(keeps playing push-back animation). AND Ghosts stuck in terrain never end their turn. AND +1 DEX (from lv4 feat) becomes +1 STR for no reason after playing around for a while. AND crashes when save\auto-save in bandits' campsite at the corner of map. These bugs are obviously terrible for game experience, at least frustrate me a lot.
Can't even make it pass the into without disliking how awful the performance of this game, it detected my Laptop specs and maxed out everything by default and i noticed plenty if stuttering even in characters creation a lot of throttle, GPU VRAM maxed and the FPS was 45 lol at the start of the game i kept decreasing the quality from Epic to High to medium and even at Medium 1660p the game was running at 55 FPS, a stutter happens whenever a cutscene starts and the GPU jumps by 1GB extra during cutscenes tried DLSS fram-gen (x4), Medium 1660p .. the FG was hitting 120 and actual frames dropped to 24 lol after playing a bit progress and reached the town the FG dropped to 45 and actual FPS to 14 during cutscenes IDK who to blame here, the slop of unreal engine or the bad optimization by the Devs if you have a lower specs PC/Laptop and you don't mind playing on 1080p medium = you can try it the campaign is still not full and there's plenty of things to adress but its still an Early Acess for now i don't recommend it because of how badly the optimization are I've been waiting for Solasta 2 for a long time, what i got is another Titan quest 2 situation where a half baked Early Access game made on UnrealSlop5 want you to support their lazy studio and dev-team the gameplay, it's a DnD game with blend story .. nothing more and nothing can reach 1% of what Larian did with BG3
Well, it's buggy, but it's also early access. That said, who chose to release it in that state? It's a fem centric game from what i've seen, with every major position of power filled by women, which is like, okay, sure, whatever, and i probably wouldn't have noticed that either if the entire character creation was "what kind of woman do you want to be?" because you can't create males. Just women that kinda have a beard and androgynous hair, or a woman with a five oclock shadow and female hair. The aesthetic choices of armour are making the same mistakes as the first game too. Half plate armour isn't just full plate armour with your gloves off.... It looks dumb. Put the effort in please. Worse still, you can't even have a full team of females because there are only two effin voices for female characters! WTF you doin? At least in the first one there was the attempt at their scripts being different if they were violent, casual, formal etc, but in this one all that goes out the window and focuses 100% on who is the golden child, scapegoat etc when you pick that in the lame tutorial bit. Very frustrated at the release so far. If it doesn't get sorted it will be the last thing i ever buy from this company.
Character creator is quite bad and limiting if you have characters in mind
The "game" parts are fine, pretty much your usual D&D style game, but the voice acting is terrible and the selection of voices is so limited that it actually makes it difficult to know who is talking. The talking animations are abysmal, looks like muppets just flapping their mouths when they talk. And as far as I can tell you can't add character names to subtitles so that makes it even more difficult to know who is talking. My biggest gripe is the massive loss of freedom compared to the last game, in the first game you made four adventurers who seemed to have their own personalities - in this game you're basically just slightly changing already established characters of a pre-built family. In the first game every conversation would swing in different directions based on what character you chose to speak, were they a rogue or a paladin? Were they brave or cowardly? In this one it doesn't matter at all because before their class or personality they're always just "Brother #1" and "Brother #2" - if I'm going to be forced to play characters I'd rather you just actually make the characters for me and I'll enjoy them, if you give me the option to make my own characters I don't want them pushed into a box to fit the story's narrative.
