About
Solarpunk is a survival game in a technologically advanced world of floating islands. Alone or together with 4 friends, you can construct buildings, grow food, craft gadgets and explore distant islands with your own airship.
Use sunlight, wind and water to create an energy system and automate your processes like gathering resources and watering your plants.
Design your dream home base with a wide range of materials and decorations. You’re free to build cozy spaces, add tiny details, and make your island feel just like home.
These buildings were crafted by our amazing community in the demo!

Generate electricity using wind and solar energy. Weather conditions affect how much energy you produce, so you’ll need to plan ahead. Store energy in batteries and use wireless power to keep your base running smoothly.

Play solo or with friends. Everyone has their own inventory, and you can decide whether to build something together or create your own little corner in the sky.

In Solarpunk, you live in symbiosis with animals. There is no exploitation, only coexistence. Pigs, for example, will dig up truffles if treated well. Growing fruits and vegetables is your main source of food. Plant seeds in the ground and harvest them once they’re fully grown.

Automate your tasks using transport drones to gather resources, giving you more time to build and explore your skybound home.

Each player can build their own airship. Use it to travel to surrounding islands and discover new resources.

love it!
I like, very relaxing. Although I am guilty of minmaxing instead of enjoying the game in a relaxing manor and decorating my house and surroundings... Runs smoothly and looks good.
This game is incredible linear and repetetive. Nice try to frame it "relaxing"... BORING is the word! Do not expect anything you do not know from other games just with less signs of love for the game. The "Airship" does not even changes its appearance when leveled up...
Nice relaxing fun game.
Feedback for the Developers First of all, I really enjoyed the game. It has a wonderful idea, a beautiful art style, and a cozy atmosphere. I was specifically looking for a slow-paced building game, so the beginning felt very promising. However, after about 20 hours of gameplay, I ended up feeling more disappointed than satisfied. Here are my biggest concerns and suggestions. 1. The progression feels unfinished The building aspect only became enjoyable after I had unlocked almost everything. Before that, I spent most of my time chopping trees and mining rocks instead of actually building my base. It felt like I was playing as a lumberjack rather than enjoying a relaxing building game. The game also ends just when it starts becoming really interesting. It honestly feels more like an Early Access or demo than a finished game. I don’t think I’ll come back for a second playthrough, which is unfortunate because I really liked the concept. My biggest disappointment was that I kept waiting for better automation systems to unlock, but they never came. The second huge disappointment was the robot that costs 20 diamonds. I was absolutely convinced it would be a helper robot that could harvest crops, collect eggs, transport items, or automate farm work. Instead… it’s just a decorative statue. A statue. That was honestly one of the biggest disappointments in the entire game. ⸻ 2. No portable light sources There are no handheld lanterns or torches. Having a simple portable light source would make exploring and building at night much more enjoyable. ⸻ 3. Water system and animal AI There is a water trough for pigs, but the player can only drink rainwater. It would be great to have something like: a water filter, a well, or another way to produce clean drinking water. Also, animals constantly get stuck. Chickens and pigs often cannot reach food or water, get trapped outside, or refuse to enter their shelters. Their pathfinding definitely needs improvement. ⸻ 4. Smelting is unnecessarily complicated Most crafting games require one or two ingredients for smelting. Here, one production chain requires many different materials. That means building lots of furnaces, assigning many transport robots, and constantly moving materials manually. It would be much better to have something like the tree harvester—a mining station that can be placed on an ore deposit, automatically mine the ore, smelt it, and let robots transport the finished metal. This would remove a huge amount of repetitive work. ⸻ 5. Storage system needs major improvements Managing storage is one of the most frustrating parts of the game. Features that are badly needed: “Take All” button Better hotkeys Automatic sorting Quick transfer between inventories Remote chest access Right now almost everything has to be moved manually, which becomes exhausting. ⸻ 6. Chests and signs There is no good way to label storage. Also, renaming and opening a chest use the same interaction, so I constantly opened the rename menu instead of the chest. This is very frustrating. ⸻ 7. Flying drones are confusing The drone system is poorly explained. I only discovered near the end of the game that you can install a chip to increase its inventory by one slot. It is also confusing that a drone can only be assigned to a single drill. There should be: a dedicated drone management menu, easier reassignment, clear explanations of how the system works. ⸻ 8. Diamond tools arrive too late I barely crafted iron tools because they didn’t feel much better than previous ones. Diamond tools unlock so late that they become almost useless. By the time I crafted them, I didn’t cut a single tree or mine a single rock with them because there was simply no reason to. They either need to unlock earlier or provide a much bigger advantage. ⸻ 9. Building restrictions Why can’t beehives be placed next to each other? Why can’t animal shelters be placed close together? It’s almost impossible to build a beautiful farm because everything has to be spaced far apart.
Its a fun coxy game.
