Solarpunk™

Pretty fun, progression is locked behind islands but it's fun to go through the progression.

Very nice gather and build game. I wish there are more customizations for the character but other than that, very decent :-)

I was looking for a cozy game to play together with my partner, and I came across Solarpunk before its release. It looked like the perfect combination of survival, exploration, decorating, farming, resource management, and sustainable energy without being overly hardcore. Just a relaxing, cozy experience. It's usually difficult to get my partner excited about cozy games, but with his background in sustainability engineering, this one immediately caught his attention. While he happily spent hours optimizing resources and energy systems, I focused on farming, cooking, and decorating. It turned out to be the perfect balance between management, creativity, relaxation, and freedom. The game also has a great sense of humor. Falling off the map or accidentally flying your airship way too fast and crashing into an island never gets old. Those little moments make the experience even more fun. Another thing I really appreciate is how involved the developers are with the community. It's clear they're listening to player feedback and actively involving the community in the game's future development, which gives me a lot of confidence in where Solarpunk is headed. After about 21 hours of gameplay (and with all but one achievement unlocked), I can confidently recommend it to anyone who enjoys plants, building, farming, decorating, exploration, and resource or energy management. It's a wonderfully relaxing game that still gives you plenty to do. My only wish for the future is improved multiplayer, especially the ability for both players to travel together on the same airship. More than once, that would have saved my life! And I really love the graphics and art style! Overall, a fantastic cozy co-op experience that I'm looking forward to spending many more hours in ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡
