Короче, это первоклассный научно-фантастический хоррор. Сценарий и повествование просто пушка. Можно проходить по стелсу или вваливаться с пушками. В общем, я дико кайфанул.
"Solarix" is an interesting attempt at game development from Turkey. Thematically, this is basically a ripoff of Dead Space/System Shock, only much worse than those games. It's also 10 years old, which is a problem. This is one of those rare cases where I wish a game was better than it is, because I think there is room for more Dead Space/System Shock type games. This is a narrative driven sci-fi horror where you wander around dark environments, interact with stuff, kill creepy space enemies. A lot to love. Unfortunately the implementation is a dogs breakfast. Remember "Turkish Star Wars", the laughably bad ripoff of Star Wars from the 1980s? This is "Turkish System Shock", and it's a clunky, unpolished mess made with Unreal 3. It's clunky, hitboxes are vague and messy. You'll clip through some things and get stuck on invisble floor boxes. Level design is a mess and the game boils down to a rather tedious exercise in wandering around, finding the switch, flipping the switch, and questioning your life choices. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. Due to the age of this game, and the lack of modernisation, the graphics appear quite dated. This compares poorly to more contemporary games with professional standards. Given that gaming is primarily a visual medium, this is a bit of a problem, so should be taken into account when considering whether to get this game. These flaws make this game fall far short of the professional standards we expect from a modern PC game. Solarix didn't capture much interest from the people who own the game. The achievement data makes this clear: the easiest achievement, "Rendezvous with Hart", which you get for walking into the next room and reading some text, was only unlocked by 16 percent of players. Even the simplest milestone went unreached by the vast majority of owners. Hardly a ringing endorsement. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 140,000+ games on Steam? Solarix has the almost unethical price of $20 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games. For comparison, the $20 asking price for this game could get you higher quality, more contemporary games like "Stray", "Red Dead Redemption 2" or "Detroit: Become Human". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this. There's enough defects and quality problems with this game that it's really impossible to recommend to gamers. $20 for a 10 year old game is a joke.
The art style is just majestic. I've never felt anything like it before. Sometimes it even gave me a real sense of dread. I'm super happy with it. I'd give it a 9/10, but only because the soundtrack was kinda missing in a few spots. Seriously though, I totally recommend it. The gameplay and level design are absolutely insane.
Oh, that chilling loneliness... just like in the old Dead Space. OK. It's a game.
A horror game with stealth elements. Very scary and tense atmosphere. Large, open spaces with plenty of places to hide! But when you're tense and that machine voice starts talking at full volume at the most unnecessary moment, youll ♥♥♥♥ yourself xd
AI recommended this game to me <3
As soon as I put on the helmet, some AI woman asks me for help... okayyyyy. After that, the game makes me read a lot. A lot! These notes follow me everywhere! I still don't understand why I need a radio. And there are quite a few inconsistencies like that. Despite all this, I want to praise the excellent voice acting! Like! Man, I love this epic music throughout the storyline.
add co-op mode pls !!!
horror + stealth + action + stupid moments = Solarix hahahah
