About
In Solar Expanse, you take the lead of one of the early XXI century space exploration companies. Your goal will be to reach the planets, moons and asteroids of the system in order to mine and colonize them.
Optimize the costs and schedule of the flights. Mind that each object is in constant motion, so exact planning is crucial. Utilize the gravity effects and slingshot your rockets further beyond.
There is a multitude of objects in the asteroid belt alone. Some are made of water, others might contain precious metals. Deploy various telescopes, arrays and probes to know the system better and plan your next flights. Scan for the most profitable and useful materials. Research new technologies
Send your rockets and deliver the asteroids to Earth or colonies. Gain the profits to expand your corporation and start the projects on much larger scale.
In time, you will get contracts to establish permanent bases on various objects. Build fuel stations, launch sites, space catapults, elevators and entire colonies!
Your ultimate goal will be to make the moons and planets of different systems habitable. This task will take centuries, enormous resources, technologies and thousands of rocket flights. Drop the water asteroids from the asteroid belt on Mars. Mine Io and Titan for necessary resources.
Once you are done with the Solar System, build an interstellar ship. Once the game is fully released, you'll be able to venture into real and generated systems, such as Alpha & Proxima, Centauri, Trappist, Gliese & Kepler… you name them!

I'm a server member, the community and devs are great, yet I still don't know how to get passive money with satellites :sob: tho Colonists gives you income This game; - Even works for low end devices, as you can see the stats on this review, - Is still WIP, but actively taken care of bugs etc. 8.5/10 for current status, 9.7/10 for global status as it's still that great on it's EA phase.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I’d really like to give this game a positive review; I love the theme it explores. But… At this stage, the contract (mission) mechanics turn the experience into a completely linear game; some contracts are laid out down to the smallest detail. Because of this, I don’t feel as though I’m making decisions, but simply ticking off the next tasks.
If Kerbal Space Program and Factorio had a baby, it may look something like this. You have to deal with intense resource management and delta-v plots. I managed to do quite well at this game, getting all achievements (I think for the first game ever) in ~100hrs. Its very fun in this stage, but there's so much more that it needs to be fully released. Here is hoping that they keep up the good work and continue to add to make it a spectacle of a space-based game.
I'm only 4.x hours into the game and it got me hooked. The gameplay is really nice, and graphics are smooth in Crossover on Mac. IDK, why it's got to be Windows only these days, but that's my only complaint. The UX is well thought through. Where it feels rough it's obviously still work in progress. This game appears to be to fill a gap and it does so really good. Imagine Kerbal Space Programm without the rocket engineering. It feels quite much less hands on the buidling and getting your stuff to space. It's more like a tycoon type of game with strategy aspects, nice music and great graphics. Let's see in what direction they'll bring multiplayer. I really hope into a peaceful direction. The real world is tough enough already. They would have a great potential for spreading a little hope for mankind here as well. E.g., with rescue mission collaboration. 4 hours into the game, I got 5 rockets stuck on Mars waiting for fuel. The workers get hungry soon. Would even return a favor to rivals one day, if they could just spare a rocket with supplies. Or building oribtal structures in collaboration. That would be a nicer addtion than sabotage features, IMO.
1 Star, stuck in the first 5 minutes, very confusing to play, tutorial is terrrible, overly complex game, not very intiuative, tutorial states I should know how to progress, but it only showed you once and not very well
The biggest issues at this point are that since they use a tutorial-like system for getting funding, every playthrough is "on rails". You'll be doing the exact same thing over and over just because its the only way to get money. I think this overall hurts the game way more than anything else. I also dislike the lack of combat since the very first thing to go in a real space race would be the Outer Space Treaty. People WILL claim territory (either corporations ie East India Company or governments), people will fight over the best spots, etc. In real life, the outer space treaty is already being tested. This is a game design decision I can't fault them for though. The final thing holding it back really is a lack of competent AI. They currently don't re-use spaceships nor do they make competent decisions (China sent orbital parts to the mars surface for instance) making it an effectively no competition game. If anything the other orgs are your ally since they will ask for resources to make up for their own mistakes at exorbitant prices worth more than the missions. Final nitpick that will probably be ironed out is that the game won't let you do some transfers that are possible, such as when I planned a Jupiter tour and the game wouldn't let me plan flybys of the moons so I would up dumping the payload meant for all the moons on the first moon. for TLDR, there are some polish issues, but more importantly, there are some core design choices that will limit replayability and depth. I feel bad giving it a bad review since its idea is solid, but it just lacks real decision making depth.
Приятный симулятор менеджера по распространению человечества по солнечной системе и за её пределы. Довольно неплохая производительность вплоть до эндгейма Удобная система драг&дропа элементов интерфейса, но требует доработки
Great game
This game really indulge my sci fi passion on a technological level. I wuold personally add some sort of socio-political mechanics, its not realistic that also after centuries of colonization there is no state entity on moons and planets, or at least i wuold like it shown. Keep up the good work you are doing, i honestly think its one of the best early access ive ever bought anyway.
