Это хардкорный, злой и очень красивый тактический рогалик. Если любите пошаговые страдания и цените качественный пиксель-арт — берите. Но помните: джунгли не прощают ошибок, зато дизайнер сделал так, чтобы эти ошибки выглядели эстетично. ​Оценка: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 вьетнамских флешбэков из 5) Огромное уважение дизайнеру: персонажи нарисованы настолько круто, что их даже жалко отправлять на съедение пиявкам и вьетнамским ловушкам. Серьезно, детализация спрайтов — это лучшее, что случится с вами в этих джунглях, потому что всё остальное в игре будет пытаться вас убить.

This is an excellent and intimate turn-based tactical experience, with great art, and thoughtful design. The game is tough, and can take you out even in the new 'Easy' mode that was added, along with a 'Normal' difficulty. When the game launched, it was ruthless after getting a short way into the game, but the developers have been receptive to constructive criticism, and have added new difficulty levels to cater to varying levels of player. You are a man on his own, far behind enemy lines, and you have several approaches you can take to complete your missions. Depending on the objectives you are presented with (which you can now reroll a limited number of times thanks to an update), you can choose to go stealthy and evasive, or brute force your way through by taking out the enemies you encounter. Neither approach will be easy once you get a bit into the game, but it does start out with a decent difficulty curve. Even so, sometimes things will not go your way, either by an unlucky series of rolls, running out of food, or stepping into a booby trap you could not quite evade. Highly recommended for people who want something tough but mostly fair, and desire a more streamlined play experience without an entire squad to command. Very good for short bursts of play when you are busy with other things, but that constant hook of 'just one more go' is also present, and will keep you coming back for more. Recommended for the patient and tactically minded! UPDATE: Later in the game, even on Easy mode, the game becomes very punishing and difficult, with mortars, snipers, and grenades raining down on your head as you try to complete even simple objectives. The game still gets a Thumbs Up from me, but know that the difficulty later in the game is unrelenting, and I hope it gets another balance pass soon.

Давно слежу за проектом и наконец дождался! Мои ожидания полностью оправдались. Интересное проработанное окружение, каждая миссия генерируется по разному, взаимодействие с окружением, такие как обыск туннелей, хижин и врагов с возможностью найти припасы и уникальные предметы. Отдельно порадовал саундтрек. В общем я крайне доволен игрой, надеюсь что проект будет дальше развиваться и дополняться контентом. Остальным же, рекомендую к приобретению, таких разработчиков надо поддерживать!

Не ждал вообще от игры ничего, но она оказалась весьма на уровне и весьма глубокая по геймплейным решениям. Помимо бодрой музыки, прикольных звуков и высокой реиграбельности. В общем, за свои деньги - весьма годно

Отличная игра! Почувствовал себя молодым)

It’s not my usual genre at all, but I love pixel art and retro games, so I decided to give it a try. The game hooks you from the very first runs. The diary’s storyline is intriguing, and the fire base full of shell-shocked lunatics has become my second home. I recommend it to anyone who’s okay with turn-based games.
