About

Construct and design buildings for optimal working conditions. Hire people to design and release software and hardware, so you can defeat the simulated competition and take over their businesses. Manage and educate your employees to make sure they are skilled and satisfied with their job.

Software Inc. is one of those games that looks simple at first, but it has a surprising amount of depth. Starting with a small office and slowly growing into a successful software company feels really rewarding. I enjoyed designing my office, hiring employees, managing projects, and trying to stay ahead of the competition. There is a bit of a learning curve, and it can feel overwhelming when you're just starting, but once you understand how everything works it becomes incredibly addictive. If you like management and business simulation games, this one is definitely worth playing.
This game teaches you patience and pragmatism. For the first few runs my company went bankrupt within a few years because I tried to expand too quickly. Once I sat down and built a piece of software with my founders alone until I made something somewhat successful did I allow my company to expand. Now I have made 12 million dollars and am hiring 30+ marketing employees because my publisher got eaten by a larger company during the development of my last software. In reality this is a really simple game, and theres a big room for creativity with designing buildings and offices. Also yes this game mogs Mad Games Tycoon 2.
Bom jogo, da para gastar boas horas nisso.
Hoo boy this ui is dense... and the tutorials olny give you some prety vague hints so far. like, yes i can see the noise overlay, but i dont know what the colors on said overlay mean or what mitigates noise? might come back to this, but for the moment i am too confused to continue.
its honestly very in depth and fun
Great game with loads of customizability! I was surprised to learn just how niche this game was when it came out, but it still has me coming back to play over a decade later. The management itch is thoroughly scratched with this title and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys the genre.
An excellent game and definitely one of my favourites. Developers are fantastic and every time I come back and start a new save there is always new features.
