Snow Scout

Une aventure très très agréable pour moi. J'ai eu rarement autant de plaisir à parcourir une aventure. Très clairement ont perçois tout le potentiel de ce type d'aventure et ont désirera beaucoup plus. Je recommande cette aventure à ceux qui désire décompresser, et recherche un état de bien être

Marred by silly controls.

Movement controls in this game are not working/bad. As soon as you equip skis and stick one of the sticks in the snow you start spinning. Only way to stop is to raise both arms above your head. However, as soon as you do that you can not turn anymore. You can look in other directions but trying to use your joysticks to turn doesn't do anything and turning in reallife doesn't help either. After unequipping the skis I tried the options but couldn't find anything that would make the spinning stop.

At first I had a few problems with the controls. But after the last update, that seems to have improved. Or maybe I've just got the hang of it now. After all, skiing is a sport. And you have to practise. And getting a little warm is also part of it. The game is sometimes a real workout. And especially the uphill passage right at the beginning is a really steep learning curve. But once I got the hang of the controls, I climbed up well. And the downhill sections were all the more rewarding afterwards. They also added a comfort mode, which makes the skiing much easier. But I'll try it the sporty way. I haven't got very far in the story yet, but it's getting exciting. And the way it's told is perfect for VR.

Les autres commentaires parlent tous de se détendre mais c'est vraiment impossible avec des contrôles du genre! Les commandes sont tellement mauvaises qu'au bout de dix minutes j'abandonnais pour demander un remboursement, ce qui est assez rare! Sans parler que la traduction est à coté de la plaque, qu'en dix minutes j'ai réussi à bloquer le jeu trois fois... Non franchement à mon gout c'est complètement raté...

Absolutely loved playing Snow Scout. It's a physics based, narrative driven adventure game (akin to Firewatch) with an interesting story, charming scenery and artstyle and a fun and serene experience. Gameplay wise it's easy to learn the skiing mechanics and traversing the world is both chill and enjoyable. Aside from the story there are side activities like wood chipping and snow shovelling. All in all a great experience from the developers of Rainbow Reactor. Definitely recommend checking it out. Note: the game is best played standing and if you encounter tracking problems try recalibrating your playspace, that solved the issue for me.
