SNIKS

A cute puzzle game based around pushing and pulling coloured snakes/worms onto matching fruits. Very nicely designed and visually pleasing, the game gently introduces new concepts every few levels to keep things interesting. Very casual puzzling fun for a low price

SNIKS is a decent, mostly very easy, casual puzzle game. It's good for what it is, but the presentation made me expect a classic like Snakebird, which this is not. It's still solid, though. The presentation is appealing, featuring fun & juicy sound, music, art, etc. The puzzle mechanics are neat and original - snakes can move through one another, but can only overlap by one tile, and their heads can't collide. There's no undo, which kind of makes sense as there are no fail states... until the game does introduce those in the form of purple clouds in chapter 5, at which point the lack of undo was occasionally annoying. There are ~108 levels, and they're mostly tiny and compact. That's enjoyable for the most part, but a few levels felt a bit claustrophic (particularly given the lack of undo), and a few of the final levels (around level 100+) are a bit too big. The progression system is okay. It's annoyingly linear for the first 8-ish levels per world, but then opens up for the rest of each chapter. Each chapter features a new mechanic. I didn't particularly like the ice levels, which involved some annoying sliding around in trial & error and made me wish for an undo. And the aforementioned cloud levels not only allowed for some unwinnable game states, which was annoying without undo. But they also featured levels with multiple cloud switches in the same color, which each only triggered *some* clouds rather than all of them; and the clouds straight-up obscure the playfield.

Snake als puzzlespiel! Die Schlangen sind putzig und die späteren Level sind sehr kniffelig. Kann ich nur empfehlen :)

Decent puzzle game for the sale price.

Fun and simple with satisfying problem solving. You can marathon through the game or play in spurts. I look forward to future sequels, 2, 3, and especially 4, which will hereunto be known as Foreskins.

This is honestly one of my favorite low-key puzzle games in a while. Extraordinarily well-paced puzzle-solving that hits a perfect sweetspot between approachable difficulty and devilish trickiness. Also, it's adorable.

SNIKS is a tasty treat, just like the fruits those sniks munch on. Sharp puzzle design avoids the trial-and-error pitfall of many traffic-jam puzzles. Instead you're guided towards specific deductions about where the sniks must go and how they can get there. It never gets too difficult or stretches its mechanics past their breaking point, thankfully. Just a friendly colorful snack of a puzzler.

Ich bin komplett zufrieden mit diesem Spiel. Für das Geld wirklich schöne 5h Spielzeit! Vermutlich ist es auf dem Handy ein wenig besser aber kauft es ruhig ihr unterstützt damit einen wirklich tollen und talentiertem Entwickler. Freue mich auf das nächste spiel. Hoffe das im nächsten spiel ein bisschen Gesellschaftskritik vorkommt.

Cute and lovely game that really grinds your gears! Much love for detail and great controls. I used to play it on mobile, but it also works very well on desktop!

Pros: SO much sexual tension Cons: Hard to play with one hand ;)
