You are detective Hank Anderson , and you’ve just been transferred to another city to help solve a series of unusual crimes. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a gory scene and a revelation of several instances of a deadly disease that turns people into savage zombie-like husks. Upon closer inspection, it appears there’s more to all this, and peculiar events do not stop. Its a very good detective thriller/visual novel made with an rpg maker. Does not contain a single rpg maker battle which is a big plus, with gun battles with criminals instead being choice based affairs based on your stats and the enviroment which are then rendered using the in game graphics. One of the better games in its style, it also has 6 seperate romance paths for the Detective which affect the outcome of the story so its got some decent replayability.

The Developer has made an amazing story, this is more of a visual novel than a game to be exact, as there is no combat, or rather the combat is resolved with choices. This game is the first from the developer with romance and adds to replay value. The game surrounds 3 stats and you level up these stats from solving tasks (Quests) or by doing side quests where you can acquire some bonuses. I am impressed by this developer and have bought other games from them and I am impressed by them as well. Overall the story is up there with Witcher, Mass Effect and Dragon AGe series, ofcourse the storys romance is a bit rushed but it is expected with the length of the game being 5+ hours, if the game had a bigger budget I am sure the story and the romance would not feel as rushed. But the Romance in it self is well written as is the story. If I had the option to fund the developer to make bigger games I would, because he is that good. I cannot wait to see what else he throws our way, and to be honest he does develop games quite quickly but remain a very high quality, at least for those that enjoy story rich RPG's. This game was made with RPG maker and some might flinch at the very idea, but the developer uses the RPG maker with exceptional skill and it is fun to play for those that enjoy story driven rpg with mulitple endings and what not. In short, well worth the money, and you should support this developer if you are an RPG fan, so that we can see more titles from him. RPG maker or not, he is worth the support.

An enjoyable and addictive game with a good plot and choices.

I went in expecting another forgettable RPG Maker title and came out genuinely hooked. Playing detective Hank Anderson across Cromford, I loved that there are no random battles to grind, just three skills (Athletics, Charisma, Erudition) that quietly reshape how you crack each case and which endings you unlock. The writing is sharp, the character portraits are gorgeous, and the mystery kept me guessing while the optional romance angles added some fun on the side. It runs a little short at around five hours and I hit a couple of minor bugs, but the choices matter enough that I happily replayed it a few times. For the price this is a real hidden gem, easy recommendation if you value story over combat.
