I bet I've played about forty of these 2D snake games on Steam over the years.. and THIS snake game is easily one of the better snake games on Steam! ..Well worth the money to any fan of classic retro snake games! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXD293JKhHg -------------- To be the ideal snake game, the developer should make some pretty simple changes: - The above game options should provide a sound slider. Needing to adjust your volume manually on your PC is just "icky" even in a two dollar snake game like this. - The above game options could also allow the player to change the resolution. - Steam Leaderboards so we can see how well our score places against other players on Steam would be a nice add here. - Seeing our score somewhere on the screen while playing the game would be nice. - A little tougher to add but really just a copy and paste of already existing code for a 2nd local player to allow two local players to play against each other would be really, really cool! -------------- Even without the above wish list items, I scored this game at an impressive 95% score because it offers a lot of fun for a small price tag of under $2 USD. Three different game modes, multiple texture options, three speeds to play the game at aren't even the best thing about this game.. The best thing about this game is that it offers extremely responsive controls which make it a blast to play! A MUST BUY for any fan of any classic 2D snake game! Highly Recommended! * Note: This review was this games first Steam review! ..Hopefully people will give this gem of a game good word of mouth and a year from now, this review will be the first of at least a hundred reviews! This developer deserves it for such a well coded game that isn't trying to re-invent the wheel. It's solid, it works great, and it's good old fashioned FUN!

Port of the Roku version of Snake. i remember playing this version back in 2015. Playing it on Steam is exactly how i remember it

Fun game but, why isn't the snake on a grid? It's supposed to be on a grid, is this some sick joke? Did you ever play snake? It's very important the snake is on a grid. :D

An eminently playable version of the classic. Runs really well and has some cool features. needs frame limiting and a volume control.

[h1]随便打发时间玩玩可以，但不是特别推荐[/h1] 想到小时候在Nokia上玩免费的[i]Snake Xenzia[/i]，出于对贪吃蛇的情怀，所以入坑了。说实话，在电脑大屏幕配上Xbox手柄玩[i]Snake[/i]体验要比Nokia上好不少，但也仅仅限于屏幕和操作按键的提升，游戏本身质量不佳。功能方面，当时在Nokia上玩还能显示历史前几的最高分数，挺有成就感，但是这个游戏上我并没有找到类似的功能。画风方面，有很多种美术风格可以选择，但哪一种我觉得都不如[i]Snake Xenzia[/i]，可能我更喜欢后者那种黑暗风格。可玩性方面，[i]Snake Xenzia[/i]关卡可以自由选择，并且无尽模式和关卡模式都有奖励球 (一开始可以奖励数十分，随着时间推移变少)，从而有效地激励玩家拿到更多分数，而[i]Snake[/i]不具有这两者。[i]Snake Xenzia[/i]是免费游戏，[i]Snake[/i]你要花费11块大洋买它，但是前者还是比后者要优秀太多。
