Smoots World Cup Tennis

I got this because one of the reviews says it plays like Mario Tennis. It absolutely does not. I've played just about every popular tennis game. Mario Tennis, Top Spin, Virtua Tennis, Wii Sports are all good in their own way thanks to solid mechanics. Smoots World Cup Tennis's mechanics are awful: unresponsive controls, low shot variety, inconsistent ball speed and bounce, no spin, useless lobs, etc. Rallies end up looking very dumb. Also, there's no mouse support, and the menus are needlessly difficult to navigate through with keyboard or controller. This is a PC exclusive by the way. What else... oh yeah, the characters all make the same high-pitched moan every time they hit the ball. Very annoying.

This game is not meant to be serious like the Virtua Tennis series. This is a nice arcade style tennis game with lots of character customization and fun mini games. I haven\'t tried the multiplayer yet but soon I will. The game wasn\'t easy for me at first but it got interesting once I got the Hang of it. There is nothing much to say about graphics and there are no extra options for graphics other than changing the resolution. Overall I\'d recommend only if you are a fan of tennis games.

If your a Fan of Mario Teniis 64 this is your cup of tea.. This game plays almost identical to Mario tennis 64. I been waitting for a This type of arcade, story line, Multiplayer (local and online) tennis game on the pc for years.. Easily worth the money. No regrates. Contols, gameplay, ect is soild... Audio is amzing too, the crowed and announcer are amazing and not annoying unlike other sport titles I played. 10/10 , Get owned online...

I was hoping this would be like Mario Tennis or Top Spin, but as others have said the controls are horrible in comparison to those games.

Como singleplayer, aceptable juego de arcade tenis con muñequitos tipo lego. Tienen que jugarlo con gamepad porque con teclado no van a dominar los efectos y es vital para ganar partidos. Tiene modo historia, partida de exhibición, y minijuegos muy divertidos. Además tiene variedad de items para personalizar el personaje. Supongo que las reviews negativas son por estos tres motivos: por el precio, no hay gente en el multiplayer y con teclado no vas a poder avanzar en el juego. Un detalle, no le encuentro la forma de que el jugador se tire al piso, supongo que se puede porque los jugadores controlados por PC lo hacen. Si alguien sabe le agradecería que dejen el comentario :)

Fun Tennis game with career and online play. Has the standard hit, slice or lob option for each shot It takes a few games to get the hang of the shots, hold the button then push the direction you want. Supports Xbox 360 pad not sure about other controllers. If you want a fun game with player customisation, different courts in different countries, mini games and expecting the fun but not the variety of shots that Mario Tennis has then give this a go. Most of the negative reviews are expecting Mario Tennis. That game was made by a huge company called NINTENDO and much more expensive to buy,

This game makes no sense. Power shots, trajectory, variety of shots, the look of arcade tennis and the execution of sanitation garbage juice falling out the truck. Get. Super Tennis Blast instead.
