Very fun game, honestly the only reason i can see for this game to have mixed reviews is the tutorial in the beginning, which isn't even that bad are making it out to be. The mechanics for the real time strategy part of the game are not overly complex and are mostly there to have a more interactive level select/ world map. There is also a mode which cuts this part out entierly from the begining, if you only want run and gun action. The game got good tight controls, very megaman X like, nice visuals and good music. The sound mixing is a little odd as all ingame sounds appart from the title theme in the main menu are very quiet even if all settings are set to max. While the story is nothing too special the dialogues are written pretty charming. I didn't encounter any major bugs for me the game ran without issues. Difficulty wise it's challenging but not frustrating, although the game seems to have some balance issues with the abilities, the claws / earth element are pretty much the go to option until very late in the game when you have some more skills unlocked for al abilities, but its not too bad. I'd give the game a 9 / 10 personally because of some of the mentioned issues.
I would highly recommend this game to anyone who loves platformers such as Megaman or Castlevania, but also loved the old SNES Actraiser. It's basically a very well done Actraiser type game where you have your overworld view doing your tower defense essentially, and then the sidescrolling game play is reminiscent of a megaman/castlevania hybrid. 9/10 game. Only thing I'd like to see is being able to upgrade your soldiers more.
I like the game. However it has frustrating level design at the end and most of the powers are useless unless it's forced in the level. The art is awesome and the music is good. Movement is good and combat is fun. I recommend the game, but not to people everyone.
Yes but with an asterisk. Definitive yes for Megaman X/Zero/ZX fans. The combat is fun, the game looks good and it's not very long which is reflected in the price. You're basically getting Megaman ZX tho that may not be apparent at first but it becomes very obvious once you get the mega blaster suit. You can swap your suits out instantly to get some pretty neat combat sequences and to help you traverse but it's never a requirement. There's a whole secondary mode about building up an empire but it's shallow. You only get 4 (+1) buildings, a very basic resource system and no opponent. You're just stuck on an island with randomly spawning enemies until you do whatever dungeon is stopping your progress. This whole ordeal usually takes about 5 minutes and then you're back to the side scrolling levels. The challenges are mostly fine with a few exceptions which really live up to their name but they are optional upgrades. Some of the later levels are frustrating in design with platforms that change every half second and switches that give you less than a second of error but the process of trying again is usually really fast.
Um metroidvania bom e com desafios interessantes. Curti.
A good game, but it's not for me. It's a solid game, and if it came out 30 years ago, even without the tons of content it has, I think it might be regarded as a classic. But like a lot of the classics from that time, it eventually gets too hard for me to want to keep going. I do think it has a couple glaring flaws. One is the huge info dump the game does, both with the tutorials (especially for the world map) and with the story. There's a "glossary" in the menu, and unfortunately it's not for providing information about all the characters and places that the game regularly rattles off. Needless to say I had no idea who most characters that were mentioned are, especially since tons of them are only referenced and not actually shown. Another issue, which probably adds a lot to the difficulty, is the controls. You can remap them, but I could never come up with something that I could get used to. There's an attack button, a jump button, a button to occasionally use your special attack when it's charged up, a dash button, a "smelt" button, and an evasion button. At least I think that's all of it. The game would have really benefitted from a little more simplified controls, especially since the games they're inspired by, particularly Actraiser and Mega Man X, only use half as many buttons. Still, it's a good game to check out if you're okay with a high level of challenge. I just don't have any interest in putting that much time into getting good at a game anymore, especially when I have 2 lovely grandchildren to spend my retirement with. One of them, Joey, a beautiful Caucasian child, recently started learning how to ride a bicycle. At this pace, I think it's only a matter of time before he can ride all the way to the end of the block without training wheels. My other grandchild, Jacob, has developed an affinity for entomology. His mother thinks it's "gross", but I'm encouraging his passion and hope he even pursues it as a career in his bright future. Too many kids these days are obsessed with their Youtube and Tick Tocks, hah hah.
不推薦,戰略地圖無聊,闖關內容也無聊,這麼多2D平台遊戲,你何必選這款?
Why are the controls so clunky and yet the game design is based on various platforming and disastrous challenges?
Great platforming game, it's like a mixture of SNES Skyblazer & MegaMan.Please make Adam a playable character after you beat or as dlc. I like his design & would love to see him in smelter armor
