Dommage.
Was fun. Got boring, horrible controls at times. Not Recommended 1/10
Tags: Platformer Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from library TLDR: Gimmicky, repetitive, generic, gimmick not that interesting. Audiovisually a bit disappointing. Xbox360 pad works fine. Another firmly low tier platformer with overuse of one gimimick. This one has you swap protag color with a button and jump with the other. That is all for the controls. Swapping colors changes active death traps and platforms so you will be constantly shifting to stay alive, gather coins and make progression. No foes to speak of just movement to handle. It sets ambitions too low to bring anything worth the time investment. The jumping is very elongated horizontally, and the game allows for a double jump, presumably to allow you time to swap colors between platforms, but since the game likes to cram coins and all kinds of obstacles in short sucession this does not help as much as you'd think and just ends up a bit clumsy.
This game reminds me a lot of BIT.TRIP RUNNER, in more ways than one. The game has great music, is simple yet challenging and doesn't rely too heavily on any one gameplay aspect; much like BIT.TRIP. However, it also has the same problem with the difficulty curve; the levels are good, but the bosses are too over the top hard. That or I'm just awful at games. Probably a bit of both. TL;DR Rendered years of therapy useless by reminding me of the boss from BIT.TRIP RUNNER. 10/10 would waste thousands of dollars again.
Is this perhaps the biggest challenge for your buck on steam ? I do know that I can't remember dying so often in a game.., ever. Luckily I'm always in for a challenge. 8/10 Will die again, and again ,and again...and again, and..
