Honestly, if you grew up playing those old flash slime volleyball or soccer games on school computers, this hits the nostalgia spot perfectly. It is basically that exact formula but on steroids, featuring four different sports and a ton of weird character abilities. Playing solo gets old pretty fast. The bots are either completely braindead or basically Neo from the Matrix on higher difficulties, no in-between. A bit clunky around the edges, with occasional physics jank and clipping. Grab it on a sale if you want a dumb, fun casual game to mess around with a buddy. Worth a look for the couch co-op alone.

Выбор из трех видов спорта, множества персонажей и локаций позволяет разнообразить игру. Интереса прибавляют турниры. За победу в них получаем награду и покупаем дополнительных героев, костюмы и новые локации. Ко всему этому тут куча достижений. Приятно выйти из игры и получить десяток ачивок. Отличная аркада, чтобы скоротать время за увлекательной игрой. Выберите себе понравившегося слизня и постарайтесь сделать из него чемпиона!

Pretty fun game with a wide range of different powered slimes. I've only played Soccer and Volleyball so far but it's worth a try.

I thought this game would be terrible because of the art style, but it's one of the most fun games I've ever played. It's like super smash bros combined with the old slime soccer games. The powers are really unique and its fun seeing how they interact with each other. If you get 2-4 people together to play this, it's a blast. The other review mentions players clipping as a negative, but that's intended so slime's can pass through each other. Overall, if you loved the old slime games and have people to play with you should check this one out.

Wow, what a blast from the past. For the uninitiated, the original slime sports games are simple, browser-based games that pit two or more slimes against each other in a variety of sports. They used simple physics and graphics, but the end result was a very fun time-waster that was a blast to play against friends or the surprisingly robust AI. I remember wasting hours of time in middle school computer labs slacking off and playing these games versus my friends. Over the years, I had all but forgotten about them until stumbling across this game. Featuring three sports: soccer, racketball, and volleyball, Slime Sports brings back the exact feeling of those silly old browser games with even more added replay value. The graphics are simple, but suit the game well. The music is fun, albeit a little repetitive until you unlock some additional maps. And, the gameplay and physics are a great representation of how the old games felt to control. Game modes include Quick Match, Arcade, and Tournament, all of which can be played with some amount of local multiplayer partners or opponents. The best update to the formula has to be the whole host of slimes with unique abilities that affect movement and the ball's trajectory. This opens up a ton of new strategies that give the game a depth that the browser games could never hope to achieve. Along with interactive maps and tons of unlockables and achievements, this is a game I can see myself coming back to. Anyone who is a fan of wacky local multiplayer titles like Gang Beasts or similar, would definitely enjoying checking this one out.
