Game's almost perfect. Slayblade is basically Beyblade with crazy jams and customization, whille there isnt much more... Its still worth playing. Look at the price. Tho i gotta complain : Game gets boring after you know how to start a run. What was fun was the risk and reward. 8/10
Solid core mechanic, satisfying controls, and utterly insane humour. Also strangely reminiscent of the Tin Pin Slammer minigame from The World Ends With You on DS. While it's a bit light on gameplay and depth, I enjoyed what I played for a few hours. Some of the modifiers (like 2v1 and the shrinking Slaydium) add a bit more chaos and are worthwhile additions. Though the emphasis on opponent-damaging parts and just going straight for the ability cubes gets pretty repetitive after a few runs and feels pretty unbalanced. Not gonna lie though, I don't think I want to see George W. Bush in a video game ever again. 😬

I came
I played the demo, which I really enjoyed. I definitely think the game is worth the price, I had fun. I got like 3 hours out of it between the demo and the full release. It's a fun concept, especially if you played some of the older beyblade games. I do see what people are saying though, if you get certain parts like the crumpet head it's absolutely broken, so I think some things could be balanced/reliance on power up cubes could be reduced, but overall I had fun.

A laid-back nostalgia trip built on warm and fuzzy feelings for the 90s/2000's. The art style and presentation immediately takes you back to memories of NDS, but the experience also is reminiscent of classic web Flash games back in the day. It throws you right into the action, it's short but sweet and there's replay value in the modifiers and build customisation. The core battle gameplay is satisfying with the sweet visual and audio feedback from each impact, and the controls are intuitive with a good amount of weight to them so it's not like you're controlling the blade 1:1, but kind of flinging it around. Lots of charm in the writing and visual design. It's the kind of game you can pop on to chill, not insanely challenging but enough to keep you entertained and a steady progression to encourage upgrading your blade and trying different builds.
This is a solid little game, it brings back memories of beyblade when I was younger. And the kiddo abosultely loves this game as well.
Cool concept, but that's about it. I guess it's impressive that a game can make you feel overwhelmed (menus are awful, tutorial is way too short and simple) and underwhelmed (there's not much to the game, effects feel pointless, everything feels left up to chance) at the same time. After two runs, I immediately knew there wasn't going to be a third.
I was really looking forward to this game's full launch. Controlling your bey feels worse than the demo and slightly more sluggish. Feels like something is missing in the game but I'm not sure what. I think we just need a better way to control the bey
kinda lacking on the content, it was fun for 30 mins then got a lil stale. no bueno. might refund this one. cool concept though, i had tried the demo and it seemed fun but theres no depth its all same same
