About
You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess.
You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world.
She will do everything in her power to stop you. She'll charm, and she'll lie, and she'll promise you the world, and if you let her, she'll kill you a dozen times over. You can't let that happen. Don't forget, the fate of the world rests on your shoulders.
You're not going to listen to him, are you? We're supposed to save princesses, not slay them...
Features
Fully voice-acted by the impeccable Jonathan Sims and Nichole Goodnight.
Hand-penciled art - every background and sprite is drawn traditionally with pencil and paper by Ignatz-winning graphic novelist Abby Howard.
A princess. She's very bad and you have to get rid of her for all our sakes.
No, the Princess isn't a “cosmic horror,” whatever that is supposed to mean. She's just an ordinary human Princess, and you can definitely slay her as long as you put your mind to it.
Don't even think about trying to romance her. It won't end well for you.
Hopefully you won't die. But if you do, you'll die a lot. Be careful and stay focused on the task at hand!
A branching narrative where what you say and what you believe determines both who you are and how the story unfolds. Though I wouldn’t recommend taking any paths outside of the one I lay before you.
A new roleplaying experience from the creators of Scarlet Hollow.
Slay the Princess is a choice-driven psychological horror visual novel/dating sim with dramatic branching, light RPG elements, and hand-penciled art.

O jogo é extremamente incrível, a história é bem feita e tudo no jogo é perfeito.
Slay the Princess is probably one of my favourite story games I've played yet, the best way I can describe it without spoiling anything is that in a sense it's kinda like minecraft story mode with the fact you get to make the decisions. Spoilers past this line. _______________ My favourite endings I got was The Princess and The Dragon, because we finally get to see things from her perspective and we look scary man. This also made me really hate the opportunist as when I went to cut the princess free I went back into her body and they stabbed us both to kill two birds with one stone, which I should've probably seen coming to be honest. Happily ever after is another favourite, the Narator sees a reflection of the world he wants and realises that he'd be sending everyone to live a sad existance, where everything would eventually get stale and boring, so he lets us leave with the princess with little to no resistance. We get to dance under the stars with the princess before the shifting mound takes her away. which I appriciate. My final favourite would be the Thorns, where we learn to trust each other in the end after stabbing her in the back at the beginning in the first chapter. Giving her the blade as a gesture of good will in the second chapter the witch. In the thorns chapter we talk to her and convince her to give us the blade where I chose to set her free, upon leaving the cabin we get to see roses and the stars. When I got to the shifting mound for the last time, I ultimately decided to leave the cabin with her which felt like a bittersweet ending for me as death would still exist which is what makes us human in the end I suppose. The fact as well that I had finally finished the game. (I still feel sad about having to slay the princess in HAE as well as the others for the achievements too).
If the Princess played this game, slaying her is probably doing her a favor.
Really good game, it has a interesting story, plenty of different endings and great replayability definitely would recommend!
Peak. Hikayesi güzel oynanış süresinin kısa olmasına rağmen.
I don't even know where to start. I recommend this masterpiece of a game to just about anyone. Just remember the opening “This is a love story” then go find it.
I already got multiple endings and found most branches/princesses, that being said i'm not done with everything in the game, but i plan on 100%ing it. After the first few playthroughs it gets a bit finicky, which is my biggest critique. At first it's fun experimenting with the loops and different dialogue options and it's great to see active change. But after a while you just have to skip a lot, see if something changes, skip again and so on. I also skipped a lot of narration in later paths, because it often describes exactly what you see as a picture before you already, which is great for mood, but kind of frustrating after while. The dialogue with the narrator and the inner voices also got very exhausting. All that being said, it's a great game with a whole lot of love and care as well as time, effort and talent put into it. I would at least recommend trying it out, if you have any interest in visual novels at all!
Genuinely, what a beautiful game. I put this game off for so long and regret it SO bad! Yesterday I started this game and binged it all day straight, I could not close it. Very addicting, and many people complain it's "misleading," but that's what makes it fun when you first open the game. The element of surprise and hundreds of options you can choose just made me want to keep playing. I never knew what would happen, and that's what made me enjoy it. And I don't think this is something talked about too much but this game has so, so much meaning. On the outside it's a cute little visual novel that has a twist on the damsel in distress role, but you actually open and play it and it has so many deeper meanings you wouldn't expect on the outside like how perception shapes reality, the constant loop of toxic cycles in relationships, and even the duality and questioning of life and change. Who knew a visual novel that looks so cute on the surface had me question and think about it for so long after finishing it? This game is so, so deep if you really think about it and I think that's beautiful. All fans of visual novels or psychological horror should play. I would especially recommend this to fans of Doki Doki Literature Club if you played that for the genre and element of surprise rather than the style. Also a very deep game that looks cute on the outside and has you question many things after playing. I don't even know what else to say, this game is just so amazing and definitely worth my whole day.
I'm not sure what I was expecting but this absoultely was not it, 100/10 would slay again
