Skywalk

This simplistic 3D platformer took me half an hour to complete, so keep that in mind if you are thinking of buying. It really feels like it could be expanded nicely to make a more complete game, but as it stands it feels more like a demo. The physics feel a little frustrating, but that is probably due to the plain, single-colour background which gives you no point of reference or feeling of movement if there aren't any background objects in your field of view when you are moving. I would recommend this game if it were bigger. A bunch more levels with some interesting physical mechanics seem well within the capability of the engine so it surprises me this is so short. The only attraction as it stands is to replay the levels to see if you can do a perfect run, but the jumping isn't fun enough to make that more than a chore. This game is screaming for more "juice".

This is one of those games that makes you wish there was a middle rating for recommendations. It's not a bad game but it is quite short, I beat all of the levels in under one hour. Other reviews liken it to a demo and I agree, it's like a decent proof of concept for a larger game. It has some annoyances like when you respawn you are facing the same direction as when you died rather than facing 'forwards' and sometimes you get thrown off a moving platform in a random direction. For what it is I'd recommend it at a discount. With more content it would be worth the price even if it is currently £1.
