Cool flying game has pretty artwork and music. Kind of relaxing. Story is interesting. Handling feels kinda slow and sluggish tho. Get to hire crew members and upgrade ships and stuff. Bonus missions on 60+ min cooldowns is annoying, not a deal breaker, tho. I enjoyed my time with the game. Yes I would recommend this game.

The game deff feels like a tablet/mobile IOS game. The gameplay is pretty creative, but the gameplay is just too slow. Its about 2 hours and 40ish mins of story. This game has no replay value. If you have kids, this would be a great game for them! Tippy tap thats the sound of an iPad screen, well what should be an iPad screen. Sky to Fly faster than I can say the title of this game is a game that would be right at home on a mobile device (i'm pretty sure its on google play!). Though this version has increased graphical quality over its mobile counterpart. The two main controls are left and right and well thats about it what do you expect. You're a pilot for a ship and your goal is to reach the end of the level and by golly there are things in the way! Floating islands, weird animals and the most difficult to get past enemy ships. When completing a level you get a star rating out of 3. This means that anyone who is kind of a completionist like myself will be replaying levels for that 3 star rating. Since your ships goes at about the same pace without powerups or other bonuses found on the map its a little weird having "time" as one of the ratings in the ending screen. You can change your ships crew giving you different bonuses which gives a small amount of customisation. If you're a mobile enthusiast, temple run addict or anywhere in between you'll probably like this game. 7/10 Sky FTW is pretty neat, steampunk world with some silly characters and for $3.99 you can't really go wrong.

Im ersten Moment wirkt Sky To Fly wie ein nettes kleines Arcade-Spiel für zwischendurch. Ein bisschen mit dem Schiff durch eine Landschaft fliegen, den einen Dingen ausweichen und andere einsammeln. Standard Arcade-Kost halt. Da das Ganze aber in durchaus nette Grafik gepackt ist und sogar eine Art Story gespunnen wird, macht das Ganze noch interessanter. Dieser erste gute Eindruck verfliegt (badum-ts) jedoch im Nu. Natürlich ist das von der Handy-Version importierte Upgrade-System, das u.a. auf seltene Kristalle ausgelegt ist nicht besonders clever. Aber das wäre ja noch zu verschmerzen. Was aber überhaupt nicht zu verschmerzen ist, ist die schwammige Steuerung kombiniert mit einer äussert weichen Kollisionsabfrage. Es ist nicht wirklich ersichtlich, warum man nun mal an der Ecke hängen bleibt und beim nächsten Mal nicht. Gerade das ist aber bei einem solchen Spiel essentiell. Und so ist Sky to Fly nicht mehr nur einfach ein durchschnittliches, nettes Spiel für Zwischendurch, sondern eines das schnell zu Frust führt und deshalb nicht empfohlen werden kann. Fazit: Es gibt klar bessere kleine Spiele für den kleinen Spass zwischendurch. Dieses hier nervt aufgrund der unpräzisen Stuerung bald mit unnötigen Zusammenstössen und kann daher nicht einmal seinen Mittelmassanspruch halten.

Great flying simulator game - first of all i was surprised with a graphics, that is not only done properly, work smooth, but is kept in steampunk style - i can say this is great design, and nothing to add to it. Everything seems to be worked out properly - a plot, a story, heroes, enemies, powerups, obstacles - definitely recommend - enjoyed playing and will play more
