About
Sketch Crawler is a super-creative deck-building roguelike RPG, in which the Doodlers rescue the King of Cartoons from the evil plots of warlocks and tricksters. In this world, drawing is a real magic.
The Magic of Drawing
With just one click, you can redraw any object in the game: creatures, spells, walls, furniture, and decorations. Your drawings will be saved and used for further generations of the Sketch Crawler world.
The Мagic of Сolor
In the world of Sketch Crawler, colors have their own mysterious power. By adding a color to a creature, you can add new abilities and powers to it. By adding a color to a magic spell you can greatly enhance it.
Endless Fun
The procedural generation of dungeons and enemies gives you endless gameplay.
Peacemaker
There is no need to kill to win here. You can let your enemy escape, the amount of loot and experience you get will not change.
Experimental Game
We are experimenting with letting players create whatever they want and make it matter in the game. We want to tempt players to draw.
A Place for a Scene
You will also be able to record voiceovers for all your characters and even for your enemies!
Features:
- Everything you draw appears in a procedurally generated world.
- Conquer dungeons with turn-based card combat.
- Build your ultimate deck from cards you find.
- Redraw found cards to give them new properties.
- Draw creatures and see them fighting for you.
What we try to achieve in Sketch Crawler?
Is it possible to mix drawing and gaming? Can comedic fantasy and user-generated content be mixed? Can there be a benefit to a computer game? Let's explore.
Sketch Crowler is a experimental game and we plan to experiment well with procedural generation, comedic cartoon fantasy and user-generated content. We think it can be fun.
Experimentation will keep coming. We're looking for a golden formula for a game that will come together into something friendly and holistic that will be a joy to play for years to come.
We don't know where it will take us. We believe that only by exploring the unmapped paths can we discover something new. Ideally, it's not demanding to hardware game, which will live, even without internet, just on the user's computer.
A little about the graphics of the game. The simplicity of the style of drawing in Sketch Crawler is our conscious choice. First, it is much more expressive and charismatic than realistic characters, secondly, it is much easier for players to add their own drawings in this world, they look more holistic, in a third, it is a meme graphics, and this supports the comedy of what is happening.
In our opinion, the phenomenon of beneficial games is an obvious fact. These games are games that develop the player and give him practical benefits in life. The game is not an escape from reality, but a way to discover abilities and take them into the real world. This is the kind of game we see in Sketch Crawler.
In Sketch Crawler the player practices his drawing skill. The game constantly tempts to draw. And the longer the player plays, the better he will draw. And it also develops his imagination.
Creativity will save the world, and Sketch Crawler will help with that!

I don't like the incorporation of AI art in a game that encourages drawing and creativity. This sucks
S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl

This game somewhat confuses me as a Game. It lets you redraw pretty much everything, but you can't change everything to make it more suitable for what you want. To put it simply, here's some things it let's you edit: -Enemies' Sprites (as well as yours). -Floors, Skyboxes, Walls, Ground, Wall decorations, and random props. -Dialogue, including text that is triggered randomly from various things. -Descriptions of most 'cards'. -The terrain of a 'map' (but in order to do this, you must buy the DLC) The things you cannot edit: -A quest (I know you can "create" some, but the game has not presented this to me) -How a quest is performed (ie, go pick this thing up and bring it back to me) -System Text (ie, what category a 'card' is to lower the 'tone' of it) -Music (understandable, that might be too much) Other things with no real category: -The Game designer's name is spelled incorrectly in the Credits. -There's no Layer tools. This makes things a little hard. -Using any sort of Transparency makes your sprite invisible, which I find odd. -The combat is a little too simple, and exploitable; you can easily just rest after each fight, and there's no status buffs/debuffs (or if there is, I haven't found 'em yet). -The (unedited) humor is rather crude for a game about drawing whatever you want. -Really odd grammar. -Editing dialogue for a Pet (or your own character) gets translated for other enemies and pets, which I find odd. -I cannot say much for the Create Tab, as I have not unlocked it, but it's real weird locking creativeness behind something and not explain how to unlock it, or what it even does. Overall: Mixed. I like the idea, but this really does not seem like the game that warrants more creativity, even if you are allowed to re-draw everything. Sometimes you are rewarded with Essence, but that is just a currency at the end of the day.
this game is so fun, i cant wait till the sequele 10/10. but the graphics needs to be re drawn (this is a joke if you didn't understand in this game you can re drawn everything)
I cannot remember, when I added this game to my library. OK. I may not have played this game for some time and dont even have 15 minutes of playtime, but what I remember is that it was quite boring. Cant remember anything else, so its better to go and read other reviews of the game.
мир писек реален
Man, as a big S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy fan who played them all and multiple mods, it is crushing to downvote this, but the gameplay just wasn't clear enough to make up for the incredible 4th wall-breaking creativity. It's awesome how you can even change the text that some NPCs say (though it doesn't alter quests), but it was hard to follow what the cards themselves do. If you want nearly absolute clarity on what to expect before every action, Slay the Spire is still the king of transparency (and then Slice & Dice). This... despite the built-in tutorial tooltips, I just didn't feel confident in understanding what exactly was going on in fights even up to the 3rd dungeon, how often I could rest, whether there are any factors preventing rest, whether you can hold items like fruit in an inventory, etc. Maybe I didn't give it enough time but the UI felt sort of cluttered and a bit hard to read and demotivating to continue. At least there is a demo so that could be worth trying.
A casual, yet grand Roguelike Dungeon Crawler where any sprite makers and artists within any skill level can remake and forge the world with their own imagination. You wield the ability to redraw characters, decoration, objects, and cards, within the availability to import pictures and sounds into the game dungeon. Being the way it is turn-based and how the space is currently random through the area, you have alot to look at the layouts and be creative at the same time. Before the Difficulty and Extension Of Life update, this game was a beast to play upon Early Access. Every playthrough is your own experience to make your own art workshop. Even if it is mediocre and is cartoonish, you will have fun no matter what.
Играл то ли когда игра была бесплатной то ли в демо версию. Глаза уставали от графики, но чуваки, тут же можно перерисовывать что угодно! побаловаться в демке рекомендую всем, а дальше - на ваше усмотрение.
