About
You wake up in an endless hallway with no memory of anything.
A voice calls out to you and explains that after your death, your mind was placed into a computer simulation.
Unfortunately, bugs are starting to appear, and you’ll have to report them to fix the simulation.
The rules are simple:
Observe and memorize your surroundings.
If you find an anomaly, turn back. Otherwise, keep going.
Each correct choice takes you to the next floor.
If you fail, you return to the starting point.
Reach the 9th floor to fix the simulation and escape.
But is it really that simple?
Should you really believe everything a stranger tells you?
What secrets does the simulation hide?
Answer these questions by playing Simulation 9.

Duuuur mais trop bien ! Je recommande si vous aimez les jeux d'anomalie.
What a wild ride indeed. This game starts like any other Exit 8-like anomaly game, and the first hour of the game is pretty much exactly that (besides some intriguing story elements mixed in), but later the game shifts completely towards liminal space, backrooms, and even survival horror elements. While screenshots gave a hint that this is a bit more than your regular anomaly game, the extend of deviating from this recipe came entirely unexpected. Absolutely worthwhile playing! There is some aspects where I would consider the game still a slightly bit "rough around the edges", mostly when it comes to making clearer what I am supposed to be doing (especially in the liminal space sections), and also giving clearer visual clues for finding (or rather seeing) the required items. E.g., it took me forever to get that stupid "key", mostly because I entirely missed the first path towards the camera..., and even when I did, I missed to pick it up because I someone thought the camcorder was meant and rushed back (it wasn't xD). I also struggled a bit with detecting some anomalies, they are sometimes really hard to spot. From a technical perrspective, the game ran smoothly and without any issues for me. A brightness adjustment setting would have been nice, though.
This game has so much potential! It's a bit rough around the edges but the dev is working hard on it, and once you go the "right" direction with it as a player you start discovering an actual beast. Highly recommended if you like anomaly games and/or backrooms experiences!
A rarity for an anomaly game, there's a story here in which you've died and had your consciousness transferred into a simulation. It's nothing groundbreaking or new, but at least you're not simply thrown into a location without any explanation of how you ended up there, and you get to hear someone talking to you. Of course, if you just want the standard experience, there's a mode for that as well. Regardless of your choice, both modes are based on the same mechanic that's familiar to any fan of anomaly games. You have a default room or location that you need to memorize down to the smallest details because your task is to look for differences or anomalies. There's looping involved because you always end up in the same location, which may or may not contain an anomaly. If you think everything is exactly as it was in the default location, you can keep going forward. But if something is wrong, you need to turn back and go the way you just came from. If you make a mistake, you'll return to the default room, or floor 0, shown at the stage entrance. If you get it right, the floor number goes up. The goal is to reach floor 9. The location is a corridor with some sort of bar and resting area in the middle, similar to one found in airports or train stations. There are plenty of details scattered across the tables and the bar, while the corridor has a few doors that can't be opened, some seats and plants, and a clock that shows the real time. People are represented as wooden mannequins, and the only “living” thing is someone in a containment suit walking down the corridor and inspecting something at the end. There's no interaction possible. The difference between Story Mode and Classic Mode is the voice coming through the radio, but that gets repetitive fast if you have to repeat the same floor. The major difference, however, is that you can reach negative floor numbers, which happens if you turn back while on floor 0. I'm not sure if there's a difference in how anomalies are introduced because Classic Mode only displays a message saying that all anomalies are possible, which I assume means you can encounter anomalies you've already successfully avoided before. There's an anomaly list with numbered entries at the starting area. When you discover and avoid an anomaly, it gets a checkmark on the list, but this feature is pointless because it doesn't say what the anomaly actually is. Strangely, the checkmarks remain even when you start a new game, despite the game warning you that your progress will be reset. Either way, there are 82 anomalies, and while some are very obvious, such as flashing lights or the person walking down the corridor disappearing, others are virtually impossible to spot, especially because they're hidden among so many tiny details. One such detail is behind the bar, where you have to check every loop and notice things such as a missing knife on the counter or one of the mannequins having strange eyes. Sadly, the game doesn't let you beat it the easy way because anomalies you've already solved will keep appearing again. This means you have to rely on luck and hope for the more obvious anomalies if you want to make progress, which can take countless runs. There's simply too much clutter that can hide the smallest anomaly, and there's nothing enjoyable about failing a run when you're only one floor away from the goal.
Fully Honest REVIEW 10/10 PHENOMINAL GAME. This game kept me on my toes and scared me a good couple of times! It has a ton of content! I played for 4 hours and didn't even realize it, i was having so much fun. It makes you use your brain in a good way! It made me paranoid and second guessing myself!!! I thought i was going crazy lol. I honestly truly enjoyed the experience and look forward to games by this dev. You wont regret playing it!
Excellent anomaly-hunting game with a very original twist to its story! If you enjoy observation games like Exit 8 and backroom aesthetics, you will love this one. Highly recommended!
Buen juego.
I've played a few anomaly games and this game isn't doing it in a way that feels fun. The premise and the anomalies that you actually discover are good but there must be some very small details in some anomalies that are ridiculously small and difficult to see, because I'm good at finding details and my progress was often reset when I thought I didn't see anything. I think this is quite normal for a game like this but it only feels frustrating after awhile. I appreciate the effort with this game, because it tries to do its own thing, but the amount of time and effort required from the player isn't worth it in my opinion. You have to make the anomalies a little more obvious than a cup in a vending machine.
