SIMULACRA

Ez a játék egyszerre horror és komédia is a maga módján. Közben egy mély gondolat megy mögötte végig, ami szerintem a mai AI világában még fontosabb, mint valaha... főleg ha valaki rengeteget van interneten. Van olykor egy atmosztférikus hangulata is, de jumpscarekkel is tele van. Az utóbbiért sokan, én sem vagyok oda, de néha kirázott tőle a hideg és utána tudtam gondolkozni, nyomozni még. A végén pedig elgondolkodtatott.

I found the game interesting and would have loved to see it through,but i couldn't bring myself to finish it. In other reviews it's mention that it might be a bit of a slog to get through,but i found the information gathering,while repetitive to be quite nice and clever. What stops me if the sudden jumpscars,they are not telegraphed well (there is very little to no indication that a jumpscared will happen,no tension build up,none of that,one moment you are looking through apps and suddenly you're struck with a jumpsacre when returning to the homepage). As someone who is quite sensitive to jumpscares,even already knowing about the fact that there were jumpscares,the first major one was what stopped me from wanting to play.If the jumpscares were more subtle and less horrific i think it would have been more possible for me to finish,or at least get further in. Another issue i had was that the game had no way of changing the volume inside the game,and i had to change it manually on my computer,someone who is less technically literate would probably have gotten an unintended jumpscare from the sudden volume from purely opening the game The voice acting (with greg specifically) any many dialog was unrealistic,but i foudn it to be a more enjoyable part of the game,as they contrasted the poorly executed jumpscares in levity,though i would understand if it was not the intended effect. it is truly a shame,because using the mediums and technology for this kind of horror would have been truly wonderful,clever and thought provoking,and even if nihilistic,the story (as far as i have heard in other's videos and such) and how it applies it's title to it's themes could have been great. i might look into it's sequals,but i may simply not have the stomach to actually go through on playing them,i hope you have a lovely day :D
