Simple Spy

Thought from videos this would be similar to N or Super Meat Boy, but gameplay was sluggish compared to those two. Large vertical black bars on either side of screen, cutting off at least half the screen between the two and making it impossible to see far enough ahead at full speed.

After getting this game for free, I thought: "Nah, the best thing about this game will probably be the name." Boy, was I wrong. This game has everything that made Super Mario fun (except the release on a Nintendo console): [list] [*]it's hard (mostly because the guy keeps sliding after releasing the button) [*]the soundtrack is great [*]and you have to force yourself to quit after a long and frustrating session So I think everyone who likes the old Super Mario or challenging Jump 'n' Runs in general, will be happy with this game

Great game, pretty challenging. While you have lots of momentum in titles like Super Meat Boy, here your character only has limited momentum and takes time to accelerate, requiring you to be precise rather than fast. Not for the impatient gamer, it can take a lot of tries to figure out a level but when you finally do it's very rewarding. I recommend this to players looking for a challenge.

This Game is Fun and challenging. It requires timing and reflexes to have fun. Made me rage quit a couple of times. Its a Good first platform game. Witch it is my first game like this. So thats probaly why I like it who knows? But for only 1.99 there is not much to lose. Just dont be a jew and buy it!

I wish you could use the Analog controller but its not a dealbreaker (and not just the D-Pad). Nice game that I can see myself playing in short bursts. Seems pretty challenging so far. Controls are not 100% responsive but 98% is good enough. Can def see this getting nicer with a few more updates. I got for free but could easily justify the $2.00 cost. Worth it. Also glad to see a Unity game with such a small footprint. Low powered laptops and system will LOVE this game since you dont need a supercomputer to run it!!

Super fun and very innvovative! It has lots of elements from super meat boy, and is at perfect difficulty.

Die Graphik des Spiels störte mich nicht, auch wenn sie natürlich nicht schön ist. Trotzdem ist es bei so einem Plattformer überflüssig das man sein Aussehen veränderen kann. Ich hab ja nichts gegen schlechte Grafik wenn das Spiel Spaß macht aber das ist echt überflüssig und macht das Spiel cringe. Aber jetzt mal zum wichtigen Teil dem eigentlichen Gameplay: Da fängt es schon an mit der Steuerung. Wenn man mit einem Controller spielt steuert man sein Character nicht mit dem Joystick sondern mit den Buttons. Also wurde einfach nur die Tastatursteuerung kopiert, was natürlich nicht funktioniert hat. Das Spiel versucht attraktiv für Speedrunner zu werden in dem man immer seine Zeit sieht. Das ist eine der wenigen positiven Dinge. Das Problem ist aber dann auch das Leveldesign. Meiner meinung nach sollten die Level kürzer sein und immer nur aus einer Aufgabe bestehen anstatt einfach nur 3 Levels zu sein die in ein reingetan werden damit das Level länger wird und nichts miteinander zu tun haben. Die Kamera ist auch nicht gut, da man manchmal ein Hindernis nicht sieht und dadurch dann stirbt. Dann wären da noch Aufgaben bei dem Level bei dem man warten muss, was die Zeit überflüssig macht und das warten ist wirklich langweilig. Vor allem wenn dann die Figur nach dem man bremmst noch ein bisschen weiterläuft und dann dadurch in die Stachel rennt, bei einer Aufgabe in der man warten muss laufen muss dann nur sehr wenig Platz hat dann wieder warten muss und laufen muss und so weiter.
