"Love Blossomed in Time". The story begins with Eleanor Grey, a woman who has decided to pursue her dream of writing her next novel. As she moves from the bustling city to Silverwood Bay, searching for a muse and inspiration, she unexpectedly stumbles upon love when she rediscovers an old brooch attached to a romantic note. This is where the story and game commence. Of course, I won’t reveal how it ends; that is for you to discover. Being a collector's edition, it includes seven extra epilogue chapters in addition to the 28 chapters, seven epilogue wallpapers, and a music player. The gameplay is relatively straightforward, regardless of whether you are familiar with hidden object games. Each Hidden Object scene offers a variety of HO variants within the same scene. Some may consist of plain listed items, while others require matching similar objects, and some might involve an essential task (such as fixing something) or necessitate looking behind a specific object. You might need to locate multiple items and place them in designated areas, such as finding several pens to put in the pen holder, roses for a vase, and umbrellas for the umbrella stand… you get the gist. There is certainly plenty of variety to keep it fresh! Each scene also features a sequence of bonus items to find. You don’t receive much more than a shadow as a clue to hunt them down, but in my opinion, it was a fun little extra. Adding to the enjoyment—since we haven’t been spoiled enough with a nice variety—there are fun mini-games, too. Creating a painting felt a bit like painting by numbers, swapping tiles around to complete the picture, fixing a journal entry, and so on. My only criticism is that the story couldn’t hold my attention. I was mainly interested in the hidden object scenes and puzzles, beginning to disregard everything related to the story towards the middle of the game. I apologise for that. Ultimately, it was an enjoyable hidden object game with a lot of variety and a decent storyline for the brief portion I did engage with, which is worth a playthrough. So, it's a thumbs up from me! A paint the scene mini game VS one of the hidden object scenes https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3438859771 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3438859988
I would be super grateful if you could consider giving a follow over at the following places for more first looks, reviews, recommendations, etc:

| My first looks| ~My YouTube channel.
🎉BRAVO BOOMZAP-VERY COOL HIDDEN OBJECT GAME!🎉
I've played hundreds of hidden object games over the years; you've seen one, you've seen 'em all...but then, along comes a new game from Boomzap called Eleanor Grey Mysteries to prove me wrong! There's such a variety of hidden object styles, in-game puzzles, and interactions that it's impossible to get bored. Under most circumstances, I'm usually getting pretty bored towards the end of a HOG, but Silverwood Bay had me hook, 🪝 line, 🎣and sinker, 🐡and I was disappointed when it ended. There are 28 Main Chapters and 7 Collector's Edition Bonus Chapters, all set in a quaint little town called Silverwood Bay. Each scene has 3 extra items to find, shown as Silhouetted Shapes, to the left of the inventory bar. Each hidden Object scene has a variety of HO variants within the same scene. Some may be simple listed items, some require matching similar objects, while others might be a simple task (fix the sign) or require you to look behind a specific object. You may have to find multiples of an object and place them in a specific area, such as finding multiple umbrellas and putting them into a stand or finding several roses to place in a vase. There are several in-game puzzles that are related to a particular object; they aren't just random puzzles. My favorite puzzles were the ones that you rotate & swap newspaper articles, journal entries, or missing book pages. I also enjoyed the Swap & Rotate puzzles, Spot the Differences, and finding specific areas in a scene that match a square sample. The only games I didn't care for were the "painting" and "cleaning" puzzles because all you are doing is holding the mouse button while swiping the scene. A beautiful love story, ages ago. Now both are long gone forever! Silverwood Bay: An Eleanor Grey Mystery by Developer Boomzap Inc Mystery writer, Eleanor Grey, is drawn to Silverwood Bay for it's serenity, charm and hoping for some inspiration while writing her new book. It's a sleepy, cozy little town. Her curiosity of Silverwood Bay, started when her friend gave her a brooch. It once belonged to a couple, Laurie and Amy, who lived there. They were childhood sweethearts since grammar school, where it all began with their incredible love story. Laurie had once given the brooch to Amy with a heartfelt note speaking of their bond and devotion to each other! While sitting at a charming book cafe Eleanor, stumbles upon handwritten notes from the couple hidden between pages of the books. Then at the library she uncovers a painting Amy once did. This intrigues Eleanor more and more as she slowly tries to put the bits and pieces about Laurie and Amy's love story together. While digging up heartwarming information, there is also fun items to find and mini-games for added fun. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3493621159 Eleanor found out that Laurie once worked at a local saloon. The newspaper posted there is a Museum Tour of the town's historical spots. There she found bits of their lives through the historic saloon which was preserved in excellent condition. And she found a ledger that spoke about the special ring Laurie had designed to be made for Amy. It also mentioned his last name, Blackwood. Later while straying from the Museum and Nature Park Tour Eleanor stumbles upon a cabin with the name Blackwood on it. So she happened to walk right in. And surprisingly found this cabin once belonged to the adorning couple with sketches and paintings from Amy all over the home. More and more she was able to unravel bits and pieces of their lives and commitment to each other. While in town having ice cream she discovers a brochure speaking of a Nature Park Tour. There she was able to find a historic train car from the past, well preserved for an exciting ride. At the end, she resumed on a hiking trail and discovered a parked camper van belonging to Bethany Blackwood or Beth for short. Beth was intrigued about her writing about her long gone great grandparents and was helpful in filling in some of the blanks. Eleanor investigated the old historic town and visited the old school they attended and church where they got married in. There she uncovered more about the couple and their love story which is included in her new book, A Love Blossomed in Time. And while there she also found a new companion, a kitten which she named Oliver. Together they both started a new life, full of wonderful adventures together. I wonder where life will take them next? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3493621471 Pros: * 35 Wallpapers * Family Sharing * 15 Achievements * 15 Tune Music Player * No Issues using Windows 11 Cons: * No Trading Cards * Profile Features Limited https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3494537301 Rating: 9/10 Final Thoughts: A brilliantly written love story about Laurie and Amy Blackwood and their incredible love and life together. Standard HOG with a story in which you follow a trail of and old romance. The game features Eleanor Gray, a writer who travels to a small town to find inspiration for her new novel. The story is decent, but it avoids outrageous questions and surprises. The majority of material is offered in a few paragraphs throughout the book, from which you can select stages. Eleanor also says a few words during a stage for more significant items. Each stage contains a single location that you complete with classic HOG gameplay. The goal is to find a bunch of items from a list by clicking on them on the scene. However, only a few are visible right away. Some are buried behind a simple adventure game task, such as finding an object and using it on another, gathering similar types in a specific location, and so on. Because a scene has many parts that can be difficult to identify, you can zoom in or go even further using a magnifying glass. If this doesn't help you find the right items, you can always use a hint. One item includes a mini-puzzle. Each scene has a different objective, but the majority of them need you to reconstruct something from broken pieces. Once you've found all of the items, you'll be presented with another logic puzzle. I enjoy how each mini-puzzle is related to the theme, so nothing feels out of place or random. These games are intended to be casual entertainment, but if you want to push yourself, there are various choices available, like a misclick penalty and a hint recharge rate. Except for the music and bonus chapters, there aren't any noteworthy extras.
It's a return to some of the story-driven game scenarios we used to see from this developer, in particular the Dana Knightstone series - especially since the voice actor is the same one who voiced that character! However, the storyline in this one is not nearly as strong as the Dana Knightstone stories. I would love to see that series come back, so long as they could continue to present really good stories. This one is a pale imitation of the Dana Knightstone games but it is still superior to most of the current crop of similar games. Although the text reads like it was written by an AI. This character is supposed to a writer - she can't even come up with a full sentence.
Pleasant little HOG, pretty short (5 hours) but with solid graphics (for the genre and the price range) and decent story.
i LIKE THIS GAME BECAUSE IT KEEPS YOU THINKING.
