Survival game held back by design flaws that hinder progress with random zero-damage attacks and no incentives to motivate future runs. The game begins by letting you choose one of two available heroes. The remaining nine are locked, and their unlock conditions are unknown, so it’s best not to worry about them for now. While each character offers slightly different perks, they aren’t entirely unique since they share some gear. Their main differences lie in three stat boosts (like increased health or speed) and three available weapons that determine what you can equip during a run. The gameplay follows the familiar structure of the survivors genre. Your task is to run around the area, collecting coins dropped by defeated enemies, while your character automatically attacks. These coins serve both as experience and currency, and when you grab enough to level up, you’ll open a shop. In the shop, you can spend coins to buy one of three random perks, upgrade your current weapon, or unlock a new one. However, you always start with the weakest weapon and must pay a high price to access the stronger two. The only limitation to making a purchase is whether you have enough coins because there are no free upgrades with each level-up. If you’re short on coins, your only option is to exit the shop and save them for the next opportunity. There’s a bit of strategy involved: each successive level-up costs more coins, and hoarding them too often might mean you won’t survive long enough to use them. You must decide between purchasing cheaper perks or saving up for powerful weapon upgrades. Buying a new weapon doesn’t replace your current one: it adds to it, doubling the number of projectiles and increasing damage. Upgrades and perks increase in cost with each purchase of the same type, but the prices of other options remain unchanged. The game features three small stages that must be completed in order. Each one involves constant movement and dodging enemies that spawn endlessly. There’s no contact damage; you only get hurt when enemies land an actual attack. However, since there’s no dodge function and the cramped space fills up quickly, avoiding damage is still difficult. Worse, enemy hits deplete more than one heart, so it’s easy to die without realizing what happened. Your goal is to survive waves of enemies. The longer you last, the more stars you earn. Unfortunately, wave duration and enemy count are not visible, so your only option is to keep fighting and dodging until the wave ends. There’s no break between waves, except every fifth one because surviving it rewards you with a relic that provides a major stat boost. Unfortunately, the game’s enjoyment doesn’t last. One major flaw is its lack of progression: there are no rewards for failed runs. This forces you to repeat the same stage with the same character and loadout, making runs feel repetitive and offering no way to improve your chances through persistence. A bigger issue lies in the weapon system. Weapons can randomly deal zero damage, which is especially frustrating when you’ve upgraded them and they’re firing multiple projectiles, only for all of them to do nothing. While there’s also a chance to deal double damage, this doesn’t make up for the randomness. Oddly enough, the chance of doing zero damage starts at zero but increases with each weapon upgrade. This makes upgrading pointless, essentially punishing your progress and making the game harder for no reason.

"Surpreendentemente viciante e divertido!" Silent Survivor: Under the Crisis é aquele tipo de jogo simples que você compra sem grandes expectativas e acaba se apegando. A variedade de personagens é excelente – cada um com suas habilidades e estilos únicos, o que traz bastante rejogabilidade. O estilo de arte é muito charmoso, com visuais que lembram animações desenhadas à mão, dando uma identidade bem própria ao jogo. A progressão é outro ponto forte: os inimigos vão ficando mais desafiadores conforme você avança, obrigando você a pensar bem em como evoluir e o que priorizar. Isso mantém o ritmo sempre interessante, mesmo em partidas mais longas. É um jogo que não tenta reinventar a roda, mas entrega tudo o que se propõe com competência e diversão. Ideal para passar o tempo, relaxar e se divertir de verdade. E pelo valor cobrado, vale cada centavo.
