SILENT HILL f

Short, but fun. I only beat it 1 time on regular mode.. I'm not replaying it 3 more times for the true ending, I can just watch that on youtube. :)

One of the best installments in the Silent Hill franchise in recent years. Story and tone is perfect very heavy inspiration from Silent Hill 2, focusing more on character psychology and how it shapes the world. The change in setting from modern U.S. to a rural Japanese town in the 1960's is a big change but incredibly welcome, the time frame and setting of a heavily religious rural town directly effects the characters stories and interactions through the social norms and expectations of the time. The game also expands on the combat making it more interactive for the player with things such as heavy attacks, parry, sanity, and limited stamina. However the combat has been criticized for the difficulty and some aspects being incredibly annoying such as the parry mechanic and the dodge.

This game is really really fun. Definitely makes you do a lot of thinking and strategy, as well as experimentation. I love the playground feel of it. Also it's terrifying, but too terrifying. It's actually kind of relaxing in a way, and I find that relaxing while playing the game helps me be more strategic. Very cool!

A great entery to Silent hill. The game has an amazing story, puzzles, ambience and an amazing soundtrack. For me its strange that a Silent hill game can be a Souls like, but it kind of fits the story. Combat is not that hard, you just have to learn it. Puzzles are fun and you have to use more then 2 brain cells to figure them out. There are a couple of problems. The performance. The game runs ok but i had a few FPS drops throught the game. And the price. I know that games are getting more expensive but this is too much for a horror game, best buy it on a sale. At the end its a very good horor/action exprience. Recomended. 8.5/10

Combat is bad, gets better when you dont have to worry about durability for a change. I guess I messed up a couple puzzles but when I got to the solution...it was something I am certain I had tried before. Interesting story. Good music. Not fun to play. Only reason I finished the game.

Игра очень затянута, простая боёвка не понравилась , невозможно собрать лут с первого прохождения - для этого нужно пройти игру на каждом уровне сложности. Сюжет 3/10. Присутствуют ошибки перевода на русский язык.
