This is a stylish psychological indie horror game with a cool atmosphere. However, clunky character controls, slow character animations, cumbersome inventory management, annoying monster encounters in which you can die, and a lack of manual and auto-save features before you die from these monster encounters made this game frustrating and unplayable for me. After solving a puzzle, a monster killed me and threw me to a much earlier save point, and I had to start again to solve the same puzzle. Unfortunately, that's where I quit and uninstalled this game because I just don't want to waste time because of such crap game mechanics. If you have more patience and time than me, go for it, but no thanks from me.
A decent, emotionally-driven story with stylish & macabre visuals, unfortunately marred heavily by clunky and frustrating gameplay. Slow character animations, confusing maps with doors and save points that are difficult to see, monster-chase stealth segments that are far more annoying than scary, some rather unintuitive puzzles, and random minigames that felt out of place... Good atmosphere and artstyle, just not that fun to play. 2.6/5★
To the spirit what sleep is to the body, nourishment and refreshment.
Game drew me in with its Silent Hill aesthetics, oppressing atmosphere and initial clever puzzles, but unintuitive controls, horrible game mechanics and obtuse puzzles later on made me quit the game. It's just not fun to play plus story - and character development is too slow to make me even care about it.

I think the main problem is that the protagonist’s parents must be siblings. Dude moves so funky even the controls feel like they were designed by his arse. I can’t bring myself to finish this because he can’t do a simple 360 or enter a door fast enough. Atmosphere’s decent and the music is okay tho'. It is an old game, but I checked it out since I enjoyed Distraint 1 & 2 quite a lot.
Dark and atmospheric horror with chilling visuals and an engaging story. makes you shiver and want to uncover the mystery. perfect for fans of psychological terrors and surprising twists. a creepy adventure you won’t forget!
