SHRIMP GAME: OVERKRILL

this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. i found this game today, then fell in love instantly when watching the trailer, and have since done the first four bosses. i then bought the game for my girlfriend and convinced my friend to buy it as well. shrimp game is awesome. its so crunchy and whimsical. pure fun and joy, and filled with such creature like shrimps. i expect to put many many more hours into this game. the fact they have a roadmap is so exciting. it also performs really well. on 1440p i get around 320fps on average, with highs in the 400s and lows no less than about 240. ill try on my steam deck at work tomorrow and see what that gets too. 10/10

I love this game. I have been play testing this game for a while but now that the full game has finally dropped I can say with full certainty that shrimp game is one of my favorite indie games of all time. Its just clean simple fun and I highly recommend.

As of now I've played one campaign loop with a friend, and intend on playing more with more friends. Without being fooled by puns in the marketing, this is a reasonably competent game with a cute and unique aesthetic and setting with a less-serious tone. There's enough to be engrossed without being overwhelmed. It's a fun and shri-I mean straight-forward game. It delivers mechanics and challenge to the player without needing to trek through the bush to become competent at it, and I appreciate the developers for that. I never feel like there was any severe penalty, but the ceiling to play the game more seriously is also there if you want. Generally I feel that this is a good example of how games on a whole ought to be. The price is a great value for how much I intend on playing this game with others.
