w game, i like the physics and cutomization. but i feel like the game could use more spots even tho i am sure its well over 30 diffrent spots to ride. sadly games dead and multiplayer needs work, but thats expected from a indie game
really fun and chill
Topp :)
I've wanted a snowboarding game ever since Amped on the OG Xbox, I never cared for the SSX type games as they were too arcade-y for my liking. Had Shredders on my wishlist for a while and finally picked it up. This game feels insanely unpolished. Don't think I descended a mountain once without some weird glitches. The inverse kinematics for the animations are really janky and keep just teleporting and jerking around constantly which for a game meant to give off great vibes.. idk. Grinding rails feels inconsistently forgiving or unforgiving. Sometimes you are off by a millimeter and just slide off, while sometimes you barely touch it with the edge of the board and it just glues you on top of it. Also weird disconnect when you get glued on where it no longer feels like you're controlling it yourself. Also sometimes when you hit a rail from too far below you still somehow get glued on-top of it. Clipping is random as well, some trees you just phase through while some you don't. Crashing into one of the houses and you clip into most things it's made of. There's weirdly many places where you get stuck with an uphill both ways, or wedged behind a jump or something, and trying to like hop out on your board to get unstick is clunkier than irl so you just have to teleport out. Maybe I'm missing something but there's not only no sense of speed, but I can't seem to actually get any speed? I even went off the mountain completely once off the map basically freefalling almost and it still felt slow. So many jumps you barely have any speed by the time you're supposed to jump and it just feels bad. Skill issue? Idk holding forward on the left stick doesn't do much. The menus don't support holding a button to move like a slider in a menu... so if you want to change something incremental in the settings you have to tap right/left 4000 times. Seems like a very basic menu thing to get wrong. I can't find anything about it in the tricks menu but my character just does a backflip sometimes when I don't want him to. The speed of your spins and stuff also feels random. I kept resetting for the first jump like 80 times just to try to figure it out but sometimes he spun extremely quick and sometimes you barely make a 360 on a big jump, maybe skill issue or something but it actually just felt really inconsistent. Since turning speed is fairly slow trying to upkeep any form of speed seems unfun. The slopes I got to play on not having unlocked any more were also extremely short, a few rails/jumps and you're down.
Не работает НИ ХУ Я Просто бесконечная загрузка, как оно вообще галочку deck verified получило?
Im wating for 「Shredders2」
If you're in doubt, just buy it, you won't regret it
Yup Skate 3 a la snowboard, yup I'm sold! So it's very hard but if you put the time in eventually you will be a crack, one of those games you need a lot of free time and patience but it's very rewarding to pull off the tricks you want eventually. Also the maps look super fun I just started it, but already had a blast. And the music is awesome like the Descenders music, different but still awesome. Sometimes the graphics look very realistic, and I guess it's an optimized game. Just one gripe, this is definitely one of those games that would benefit a lot from having a Steam Workshop, no need to explain why.
