You ready? Good, ‘cause you’re going!

SHORESY, created by and starring Jared Keeso and produced by New Metric Media in association with Play Fun Games and Crave, sees the titular character Shoresy (Keeso) and the Sudbury Bulldogs of the Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization (The NOSHO) on a quest to never lose again. SHORESY returned for season four on Crave in Canada in January, and Hulu in the US in February, with seasons one through three streaming on the platforms, as well. The fifth season of the series completed production in April, with a premiere date to be announced.

The game for sure has its pros and cons as it is in early development, but at the moment I would not recommend it. The game itself is well thought, but not well made. I can see the potential, but the worst part about the playing part is that it's just about hitting. I feel that the way to win a game is by being better at hitting the interaction (checking/hitting) button. The interaction is just too much, when you begin to progress further throughout the game you start to notice how much you/the opposing team actually hit. But to sum it up, the game has good potential, as its just the beginning of a great story game.
Not a terrible arcade hockey game, but far from perfect, you'll encounter your fair share of bugs as you play. I thought you could play the story mode in co-op, but it doesn't seem to work. Definitely only recommend for fans of the show. 6.5/10

One of the better hockey games I've played. Few issues still but early days
Very fun game dosent have to be taken seriously but can be multiplayer and single player options
Off to a good start! I enjoyed the gameplay for the most part, although it feels a bit clunky at times. I really like the music and the premise of the story mode. I feel like the game will be great when more work goes into it.
It is full of bugs preventing progression, inconsistent performance and easily broken AI
Hell Yeah ♥♥♥♥ Yeah
Super fun! Playing with other people is such a riot and the mechanics were easy to get a hang of, even for someone who doesn't play a lot of sports games. Definitely suggest using a controller and getting your friends to join! Love that they included a sledge hockey player--You can really feel the love for hockey/arcade games in the details here! Tons of promise for early access
This game plays really well, and it's pays the show respect well with a ton of fun easter eggs. If you love shoresy and you love hockey games, I'd def pick this up.
This game is really fun! It has all kinds of different gear and power-ups. The hockey controls are relatively easy. Make sure to do your warm ups and get the feel of everything before you start. I generally prefer the arrow pad over the analog stick, but it makes sense why you would use it. My biggest problem is that I get the pass and shot buttons confused. It would be nice to be able to alter the controller setup. Overall, you'll have a good time.
