ShoppingMall: Manager Simulator, developed by Geekon and published by Midnight Games, is a business management title that aims to capture the layered experience of building and running a modern retail complex. It positions players as both architect and operator, asking them not only to design an appealing shopping environment but also to maintain the intricate systems that keep it profitable. At its best, the game offers a satisfying sense of growth and control, but that potential is often undercut by uneven execution and a lack of refinement in its systems. The core gameplay loop revolves around transforming a bare space into a fully functioning mall. Players decide where to place shops, what types of stores to include, and how to structure the layout to maximize customer flow. Different businesses attract different crowds, so balancing variety becomes essential to maintaining steady traffic and revenue. There’s a clear sense of progression as new stores become available and the mall gradually expands, and this evolution is one of the game’s more compelling aspects. Watching a once-empty building fill with activity provides a tangible reward for careful planning and decision-making. Beyond construction, the game emphasizes day-to-day management, which is where its simulation elements become more pronounced. Players must hire staff, maintain cleanliness, manage security, and ensure that both customers and tenants remain satisfied. Financial oversight is equally important, as income from rent must be balanced against expenses such as wages, upkeep, and upgrades. These interconnected systems create a feedback loop where small decisions can have wider consequences, encouraging players to think holistically about how their mall operates rather than focusing on isolated tasks. The interface is designed with accessibility in mind, using straightforward controls and clear menus that make it easy to navigate between different aspects of management. Players can zoom in to focus on individual stores or pull back to get an overview of the entire complex, which helps maintain situational awareness. This ease of use makes the game approachable, even for those who are not deeply familiar with simulation titles, though it also means that some systems feel simplified compared to more complex entries in the genre. Visually, the game adopts a functional, semi-realistic style that prioritizes readability over detail. Storefronts are varied enough to give the mall some personality, and decorative options allow for a degree of customization. However, the overall presentation lacks polish, with animations and environmental details that can feel stiff or outdated. While this doesn’t necessarily hinder gameplay, it does limit the sense of immersion that a more refined visual design could have provided. Where the game begins to struggle is in the consistency of its systems. Technical issues, including bugs and occasional instability, can disrupt the experience, particularly as the mall grows larger and more complex. Staff behavior is another weak point, as employees do not always perform their roles reliably, leading to situations where players must intervene more often than expected. This undermines the management aspect, shifting the experience toward micromanagement rather than strategic oversight. Repetition also becomes a factor over time. While the early stages of building and expanding the mall are engaging, the core loop does not evolve significantly as the game progresses. Tasks such as collecting income, resolving minor issues, and maintaining operations become routine, and without new mechanics or deeper challenges, the experience can start to feel predictable. The lack of meaningful variation in objectives or scenarios further contributes to this sense of stagnation. Replayability is therefore somewhat limited. Although players can experiment with different layouts or store combinations, the overall structure remains largely the same, offering little incentive to return once the main progression has been completed. For players who enjoy optimizing systems and refining efficiency, there is still some value in revisiting the game, but it may not hold long-term appeal for a broader audience. In the end, ShoppingMall: Manager Simulator is a game that demonstrates solid foundational ideas but falls short in execution. It captures the basic appeal of building and managing a retail space, offering moments of genuine satisfaction as your mall grows and operates smoothly. However, technical issues, repetitive gameplay, and a lack of depth prevent it from fully realizing its potential. It stands as a serviceable entry in the simulation genre, best suited for players who are willing to overlook its flaws in exchange for its core management experience. Rating: 6/10

The game was so nice
Estou começando a construir o shopping....Achei o jogo genial!!!!!.
