So I wrote a review around half way through the game. Im new to reviews and wanted to edit mine now that I finished the game. The game itself is fun. Some levels feel super easy and come to you right away while other levels take some time and "trial and error" before you understand what needs to be done. There are multiple endings so if you want to at the end you can go through again just to unlock these different endings. For me it took about 9 hours to complete but being a puzzle game, some probably could do it much quicker! I must say tho. This game really helps with your memory. Sometimes you have to remember the correct sequence of events and what triggers what in order to make it to the end. Especially since when you die, you start from the beginning of that level. The graphics are decent for the game. Also I don't play many 2.5D games and this was a different experience for myself. Im new to review so I Hope someone found this helpeful!
My first walkthrough for this game: https://youtu.be/GC_JV2NHZzg Escape the many floors from the ship before the water catches you. Sometimes you need to work together with other passengers. Then you can control both characters. There are diffirent difficulties. So if you don't want to rush through the game, you can pick the easy mode. 1 note. Watch out if you are vulnerable to sea sickness

Well, a position where you can make good money without working too hard, meet people who have a purse or a wallet overflowing with $100 notes or an uncapped credit card and to top it off, travel the world. It's your lucky day! Your application for a croupier on the luxury ship, the Antaraxia, has been accepted! And your first cruise is from Athens to Dubai! Everything was running as smoothly as the last few days, until . . . You woke up with a pounding headache, blood running off your face, torn clothes and covered with debris, three decks below the casino level where you were working! You quickly realised by smelling smoke and hearing the water that something went terribly wrong on the Antaraxia! The only way out is up! Good luck in Shipwreck Escape. Shipwreck is a 2.5D survival puzzle platformer developed and self-published by Raccoons Studios on the 24th of June 2021 on the Steam platform. After a very cool intro with comic-book-style illustrations, you'll go through two short tutorials to acquaint yourself with the controls so that you can escape the sinking ship. The game consists of 4 levels with 5 stages, and you can choose between three levels of difficulty: easy, normal, and hard. The higher the difficulty, the faster the water will rise in the stages. A quick tip - the difficulty is set on the highest level at the start of your first playthrough. So, if you struggle early on, go to the options and change the difficulty. You will need to figure out how to eliminate obstacles such as turn off hot steam from broken pipes, put out fires, turn off the electricity, and make sure you reach the exit before the water cashes you. The first couple of stages are pretty simple as they have one or two floors and not too many rooms to visit. However, as you progress throughout the game, the stages will have more floors and will become more complex. And on top of that, in some stages, you'll be controlling two characters, and you'll have to swap between both of them to remove the obstacles for each of the characters so they can both reach the exit. The stages are basically laid out with rooms and corridors. Some rooms will be open, while others will be locked and will need a key to unlock. But most of the rooms and corridors will be connected with industrial air vents, which you can kick to open, then crouch into and make your way to the next room or corridor. Also, be aware that as the water rises, your characters will most likely be in danger of drowning especially if they are in a long vent flooded with water. In some of these vents, you'll also find ladders that you can use to go up or down floors. As you reach the third level, you can use stairs as you will be playing on the ship's upper decks. So, how hard is it to solve the puzzles? You have a good mixture in this game, even if you always have the same elements to solve the puzzles: red valves, blue valves and switches. The red valve turns on or off the steam pressure in pipes. The blue valve turns on or off the water pipes, mainly to put out a fire if you haven't been able to pick up a fire extinguisher (be careful here, though, because the water will rise faster if you keep the water valve open). And the switches on the wall turn on and off the electricity. In some instances, stages are straightforward, but you'll have to find the right sequences on other occasions, and it might take you quite a while to figure them out. The developers were quite cheeky in a few of them. I did experience a few minor bugs here and there. The more frequent were when you kick the air vent grill while standing up, and as you crouch down, your character falls into the wall until you are fully in the crouch position; not a big deal. The other was when going up or down the stairs between floors. I got stuck a few times going down and up; I could not move my character left or right when reaching the floor. Instead, I could only move my character toward my screen or get them halfway down the stairs and then back up to see if they could move left or right on the floor. Although I found it funny that my characters wanted to escape from my screen, it was a bit frustrating, as they died in vain. Especially frustrating if you have been working a level and know you are so close to finishing it! There is a bit of a story that you will discover by collecting notes throughout the stages, which is fun. The graphics are good, and the controls work well. You can use your keyboard, but I preferred to use my Xbox gamepad. I am enjoying this game and after 6+ hours, I am about to start the fourth and final level with 5 stages to complete. Positives: ~~~~~~~ + Nice graphics + 3 levels of difficulty + Good intro, 2 small tutorials and 20 stages to clear + Easy, fun to play with well-designed stages Negatives: ~~~~~~~~ - No achievements or trading cards - A few bugs here and there Run, crouch and solve puzzles to make your way to the upper deck of a sinking luxury ship in Shipwreck Escape! 7/10 Key provided by the developer/publisher for review purposes. Decent for the kind of game it is and the 50 cents or less I spent on it.
Fun platformer. But the switching between the characters doesn't always work. You have to restart the game, so it works again.
cool
Worst game ive ever played
6\10 https://youtu.be/NCsdmMzWhzc
