Геймплей игры построен на основе механики "переключения состояний". Альтеро может существовать в двух состояниях: обычном и скелетном. В обычном состоянии он может ходить, бегать и взаимодействовать с окружением, а в скелетном - проходить через стены, полы и потолки, а также взбираться на вертикальные поверхности. Ничего особенного, но это увлекает, ведь вам предстоит использовать эти состояния для решения головоломок и прохождения уровней. Графика игры выполнена в приятном мрачноватом стиле, что придает ей особый шарм и ностальгию по классическим играм. Несмотря на простую внешность, игра обладает высокой сложностью и требует от игрока логического мышления и внимательности. Одной из особенностей является её небольшая нелинейность. Вы можете проходить уровни в любом порядке, что добавляет игре реиграбельности и позволяет возвращаться к ней снова и снова, если нечем заняться. В целом - это отличная игра для тех, кто любит головоломки и хочет проверить свои умственные способности. Своей механикой, графикой и нелинейным прохождением она способна увлечь игрока на долгие часы. Рекомендую к игре! 7 хрустов в колене из 10

Desafiando a morte. No game somos apresentados ao Personagem Adi, um garoto condenado a viver preso em um boneco de vodu nas florestas da Aflição. Toda nossa jornada de puzzles e nosso caminho, será em torno de descobrir uma maneira de sair desse loop e quebrar a "chave" do mal que nos aprisiona la. O game ai pega jogadores novatos e que se deixam levar. Sua dificuldade é bastante alta e muitos puzzles exigirão conhecimento da mecânica do jogo, de usar a morte a seu favor !! Sim, temos um clone quando morremos; e ele repete nossas ultimas ações. Com o clone podemos acessar: locais novos, locais de prosseguimento da campanha e as Almas ( parte dos coletáveis para o 100%). Como tudo na vida não são flores cor de rosa, para esses quebra cabeças se prepare para morrer muito, morrer do tipo acertar para errar e errar para acertar; em alguns momentos o pulo parecerá impreciso ou até mesmo a velocidade de Adi; que as vezes parece ser de um idoso num andador pesando as fraldas cheias. Com 5 fases não é um jogo tão longo se você ta acostumado com puzzles, porém se não tem muito conhecimento o jogo parecerá chato e altamente punitivo. Super recomendável e válida a experiência se você sabe das suas : limitações e dificuldades. O jogo funciona super bem em controle, possui cartinhas steam que valem mais de R$1,00 e possui conquistas muito desafiadoras.

Got this game because the 'ghost' mechanic looked interesting in the trailer, but upon playing the game, I find that it isn't that well implemented. The puzzles involving it lack elegance. Apart from that, the mechanic is never really explained in-game, so expect some guesswork and trial and error before figuring it out. Honestly, the ghost mechanic is far from the biggest problem I found with the game. Half the puzzles don't even involve the ghost mechanic. Instead, they require precise platforming with very strict timing which is a pain to do because the controls are very clunky and floaty. The breaking point for me was the scarcity of save points. While there are plenty of checkpoints, checkpoints don't keep your progress if you quit the game. The only way to save your game is by activating these special save points, but you usually have to go through 4-5 puzzles before reaching one. I quit playing the game after getting stuck at a 'puzzle' which required extremly precise platforming and strict timing. I had solved a few frustrating puzzles before that, but because I couldn't reach the next save point, I lost all my progress after exiting, which led me to quit the game for good out of frustration. There is a type of optional collectible in the game which is in most cases locked behind optional hardcore puzzles. These are quite challenging to get, so imagine losing your progress of getting one just because you couldn't get to a save point in time! Baffling decision by the developers not to have the game save your progress after each checkpoint/ collectible. A puzzle game should really save progress after each puzzle. The graphics and the audio are actually pretty good, but unfortunately the rest of the game is rather amateurish.

[b]Altero[/b] is an atmospheric puzzle platformer in which players take on the role of Adi, the spirit of a young boy trapped in a voodoo doll. Only by sacrificing himself can he progress through the Forest of Sorrow and find peace. Overall, Altero is a bit of a mixed bag, the artwork and soundtrack are both stunning and the mechanics are unique and interesting and there are some very satisfying puzzles. However, the gameplay itself feels rather slow paced and the narrative elements feel out of place. The game will take up to ten hours to complete and comes at a reasonable price for the playtime. I’d recommend this title to patient puzzle platformer fans that are looking for something a bit different. Altero est un jeu qui est vraiment génial selon moi! :) Il est possible d'y jouer pour se détendre en faisant le parcours et en se creusant la tête; mais moi j'adore y jouer en cherchant toutes les statuettes :D C'est parfois un véritable casse tête mais c'est tellement bien de chercher une solution puisque la solution est d'une nouvelle forme dans ce jeu, je n'avais jamais trouvé ce style d'énigmes et de clés dans un autre jeu! Je vous laisse découvrir!

Altero is a nice puzzle platformer. It's a pity that you can't backtrack to rescue the missing souls though.
