Reawaken your inner demon in a modernized version of the acclaimed ATLUS classic, Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

it is fun
It's a classic JRPG with a timeless art style, if you haven't played it, don't miss it out. The issue that some people have with this version is simple, not enough changes to earn a re-release. The only mayor updates were 'voice over' and better graphics with the cutscenes still being in low resolution. Fortunately for steam players we have the MOD comunity, they made quite a lot of changes to the point of making a new version. The MOD is called 'Insaniax' and you can find it if you google it. Had to do quite a lot of modifications in order to install it, a shame we don't have steam support, making some steam archivements imposible to earn, once you installed the MODs. I only recommend 'Insaniax' if you have experience with other SMT or Persona games, not for new players. I also installed some other MODs on top of Insaniax and so far the only one I had issues with is the one that replaces MC model with 'Raidou Kuzunoha', that made my game stop when my MC got hit with a boss attack (Had to restart some fights from my last save file). Other than that the current MOD versions are stable, this is the list of MOD I used: - NocturneInsaniax - DemiConsolidator - DemonSelfSwitching - early_compendium - everyone_gets_exp_100percent - Nocturne Framerate Mod - Nocturne Minimap - PreyEyes2 Warning: Megatamas change locations, I advice you to open every chest to get them. Some chest have new boss enemies, be prepared for a Boss fight before you open a green cube. For a full experience, get the Maniax DLC to be able to challenge the MOD new final fight. The Mitamas DLC give you access places where you can farm EXP and Money almost efforless. If you get the 'Attract Bell' item, save it for a place to farm Levels. Keep with yourself around 20 'Light Ball' and 'Float Ball' items at all times. Status effects in this game persist even after the battle is over, stock with items to dispell those status or get demons with the skill to cure them. Played this game with controler input and JP Voices, it is very inmersive and the soundtrack is the best one in the entire series. The demon models are so good that they keep them for the persona series, my favourites are: Eligor, Clotho, Mada, Seth, Throne Beelzebub (True), Ahriman, Black Frost, Mot, Girimekhala, Thor, Forneus, Samael, Pale Rider, Orthrus, Cerberus, Albion, Metatron, Flauros, Troll, Hell Biker, Trumpeter, Raijuu, Mothman, Bicorn, Nue, Ose, Decarabia, Gurr, Naga, Fuu-Ki, Shiki-Ouji, Ongyo-ki, Cu Chulainn, Titania, Kelpie, Lachesis, Atropos, Rangda, Parvati, Ame-no-Uzume, Jack-o'-Lantern and Jack Frost It's a great game but if you don't like grinding, it could be quite repetitive. Played it on casual but in Insanix the dificulty of some fights are quite challenging For MOD I had to download the Melon-Loader and set it in version 0.7.0, from there I just followed the site instructions of how to install Insaniax. 14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I hated the QOL changes at first but they're super helpful around the end of the game. Voice acting is terrible and unnecessary but the game is as good as it was when it was originally released on the PS2.
I like Best game oat I hate abdulazizhasan(this guy is like peter) worst demon ever
Juegazo, me encantan los juegos de Atlus y este es uno de mis favoritos, aunque se nota que es de la época de PS2, por lo que solo es recomendado para los fans de los JRPG o para gente que es fan de los juegos de Persona o Shin Megami Tensei.
IDC how late in the game I am. I'm NOT letting go of my Matador
I have to restart my playthrough because 4 hours in I noticed that content was pulled out of the game and put back in through a free DLC that was not installed by default. before realizing this I was already brushing off major technical issues, and backstepping with this port. Sega/Atlus need to get their ♥♥♥♥ togoether when it comes to their DLC practices. It's always intrusive, and it always effects the base products quality.
Nocturne is probably the best atmosphere out of the “modern” SMT games, it’s very quiet and lonely, really helps to set itself apart
