Shimmer's Quest - Way of the Whoop

Such an adorable game! It's full of endearing characters, quirky designs and gorgeous landscapes to explore. There's an interesting balance between the relaxed fantasy vibes and a slightly darker undertone that I really enjoy. The music really fits the world of the Shimmers and their friends. Also: lots of lizards, flowers and sushi. What more can you ask for? If you're a fan of point-and-click games with an eye for detail and plenty of cuteness, this game could be for you! Highly recommended! Whoop!

Shimmer's quest is a very lovely game.It reminded me of the days of getting cozy on the couch after school and getting immersed in a DS game. From the artwork,the story,and the play style I really enjoyed it.

This is such an incredibly warm, wholesome game. I would compare it to reading a book of cosy fantasy, like Legends & Lattes. I love the original artwork, the care and love that has gone in each and every step of the game. The story is sweet and funny, the puzzles are just challenging enough and the artwork is simply gorgeous. Definitely recommended.

very short amount of time in the game but i have to say this its so cute!!!!! i can't get across how cute it is, from the music to the characters are, this is a game im gonna play over and over just to get the dose of cuteness i need!!

This short but sweet little adventure lets you meet the cute and quirky Shimmers who indubitably have their priorities straight! You travel through a whimsical and mysterious forest as you help our main protagonist on her quest, which stood out to me with ethereal and strange plant life I just had to marvel at. Dark and glowy but very soothing.

My friend gifted me this game because he thought I'd like it, and I do! Even in this early access version (which has unfinished/placeholder art), the Shimmers' world is lovely to waddle around in. It's cozy, but there are scary things around the edges that make the safe town feel even sweeter by contrast. The protagonist Shimmer has such a cute walk cycle that I didn't mind accidentally going the wrong way and having to walk back. Very charming lizards and other anthropomorphic friends! You can feed sushi to some of them! The point-and-click puzzles are simple and un-mess-uppable (as near as I can tell), with hints about where you're supposed to use things, so this is a great game to play if you're tired and you mostly want to hang out in a realm of friendly magic creatures.

A simple point and click adventure about a very cute race named Shimmers. My personal favorites are the Throw Shimmers. The game seems to be a fully hand-crafted adventure , with a short but cute story and some side-content that you can choose to do. A smol game recommended to people who love cute things and sushi.
