Sherlock Holmes - Nemesis

I love Frogwares Sherlock Games and you can definitely see that they've gotten better with age, the Ukrainians are on to something, but you need to reign in your expectations if you're coming from Crime & Punishment, Devil's Daughter, Chapter One etc. This really is the bare-bones building blocks for what they would go on to develop in the future. If you can forgive that you're going to have a good time, but if not please stay away you won't have fun.

PROS: I am a fan of Frogwares and I adore everything they do. I love the soundtrack and the recreation of these London landmarks. The Galleries and the British museum collections were revived to convincing detail. CONS: Sherlock would know the correct pronunciation of "Lupin" and "Velasquez" and "Murillo" makes me think that the voice was made by a text-to-speech ?. But they have improved that too ever since.

Is it a Sherlock Holmes game? Looking like a cartel boss in a cartel city of wild west. Bekar street feel like hideout rather than a house. Also their have huge logical inconsistency in game. Like If The game is at 1895 setting, then is harpoon of black peter and the gun from the empty house coming from time mechine?

Ich würde dieses Spiel weder besonders gut noch besonders schlecht nennen. Persönlich fand ich, dass es sich ganz schön zog, besonders wenn man immer wieder Strecken hin- und zurücklaufen musste. Manchmal habe ich mich gefragt ob aufgrund der Übersetzung ins Deutsche vielleicht einige Dinge nicht wirklich Sinn gemacht haben. Ich habe das Hilfesystem ausgiebig in Anspruch genommen und es war auch wirklich sehr hilfreich. So konnte ich alles lösen auch wenn sich mir trotzdem nicht die Logik hinter jedem Rätsel erschloss, die eigentlichen Hinweise teilweise nicht dem entsprachen was im Hilfesystem stand und ich zum Schluss tatsächlich einen Guide zu Rate ziehen musste, da ich wegen des Hilfesystems dachte einen Gegenstand übersehen zu haben, was gar nicht der Fall war. Ohne die Tipps hätte ich auch viele Triggerpunkte nicht gefunden. Dass die Texturen häufig glitchen, Dinge dunkler, heller, schwarz, oder unsichtbar, nicht mehr vorhandene Gegenstände als Phantom vorhanden und bereits durchschrittene Türen teilweise per Phasenverschiebung zu durchdringen sind ist nicht wirklich problematisch. An eine ärgerliche Sache erinnere ich mich jetzt noch: Für ein Rätsel brauchte man einen Gegenstand den ich nicht eingesammelt hatte und zu dem Zeitpunkt auch nicht mehr einsammeln konnte, zum Glück half auch hier das Hilfesystem. Die Lösung fand ich trotzdem nicht so richtig logisch, aber vielleicht habe ich auch nur zu wenig Ahnung von Sherlock Holmes. Ein bisschen Allgemeinwissen ist bei den Rätseln teilweise übrigens auch gefragt.

Прошел вслед за прошлыми частями и остался в восторге. Игра все так же хороша, но в этой части пришлось очень много думать — было много действительно трудных для меня головоломок. Единственный минус — временами чувствовал себя мальчиком на побегужках из-за того, что приходилось очень много бегать туда-сюда по локациям. Но, как и прошлые игры серии, которые я прошел, этот проект оставил приятное впечатление. Для фанатов Шерлока — отличная вещь.

Very fun game. I honestly had a blast playing it. Very entertaining.

The birds. The birds drove me to the edge. It's going to be a long time before I try to tackle the birds again.

Some of the puzzles were fun, but as a whole it just became tedious. Add to that some annoying quirks - like a puzzle that doesn't reset and forces you to reload a previous save - and at least one puzzle that just seemed incorrect, and I was frankly glad to be done.
