Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Сюжет і гемплей клас, але моментами скучно. 8/10
The game is more fun than I anticipated. Currently I don't think I'm even halfway through and I'm enjoying every moment. (EDIT: I feel like I should also say this, the only people who will really enjoy this game are those who love Sherlock Holmes and love video games. If its just one or the other you will not like this game) There are few good things and not so good things Sherlock Holmes Chapter One does. As many have said, the game has a good story and is very engaging. The clue system, while leaving much to be desired, is understandable right away. The map is extensive and the disguises are fun. I am honestly surprised just how much game features have been crammed into this AA game. Then there is the theme of historical politics and culture. The game tackles a the historical essence of the Mediterranean fictional city during the downfall of the Ottoman empire and the brief period where British rule took over some areas, and does so pretty well. As a Turk I appreciated the level of detail given to the architecture, clothing, and music. I even caught myself reminiscing of a time that I wasn't even there for. Even if it is under British imperialism, I appreciated the effort. I also really enjoyed the fact that the game really tried to tackle hard truths about the period, and also just some heavy story lines. Especially during the artist's case you realize how the developers tried to walk on a thin line to keep the game from getting really disturbing. The mind map, chemical lab, and detective mode are cool features that seems inspired by other similar games (Batman Arkham, Hitman: WoA, etc.). But there is obviously caveats. Like many have said once more, the graphics are subpar when compared to AAA games. The voice acting is constantly undermined by the mouth movements that don't match at all, which make the game look cheaper than it is and pull you out of it. There is a heavy learning curve to playing the game which is obvious from the amount of people who leave before even finishing the first case (Only 64.8% of players, meaning 35.2% left off the bat). This is more obvious with the drop to only 41.2% of players starting the second case... (According to achievements). The character of Jon is kind of unexpected and I'm not sure how I still feel about him. The game doesn't feature many bugs but you can get some rare glitches (clipping through the ground and stuff). It's clear the game had to slightly dumb down a ton of the clues/stories for younger audiences (Like 14-22 assume), but I kind of appreciate that actually. The eavesdropping mechanic could be done better in my opinion. Another big thing that others have also mentioned is the ending of cases and how there isn't any definitive ones; I very much didn't appreciate that to be honest. I liked the writing but I didn't like the subjective endings. It is very much in the theme of Vernel Vogel's idea of "truth is a matter of perspective" or something, which I agree with but wouldn't have gone ahead with for a narrative game. Also the Turkish VO just seems like a placeholder with how inhuman it feels. I assume it's because the team couldn't get real Turks for the VO of NPCs. The game just kind of feels like there is a ton of good artists being managed by subpar gameplay designers who themselves are being limited by the producer's budget. Overall, fun game that just takes a bit of time to get used to, but provides many hours of Sherlock Holmes-esc fun. It's a great modern take on the IP made by developers who actually care. I got the game on a 90% discount but the regular price does seem higher than I would expect it to be. Also its nothing like the trailers on the Store page, they make it kind of look like a children's game with the music which I assure you the themes are not.
After reading the reviews, I really didn't expect much. But the game is really good. Sometimes it annoys me because I don't exactly understand what is expected of me, but that's the case with any adventure/detective game. I haven't finished the game yet, but I'm working on it. Compared to, for example, Agatha Christie's Orient Express, the graphics are much better, and the battles aren't as awful as people say. And at the time I'm writing this review, I should have long finished Express. So for me, thumbs up.
10/10 LOVED IT!!!!! highly recommend!
