Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I liked overall this game, the side cases are particularly enjoyable, often well-written and more interesting than some of the main missions. However, the game falls short in several gameplay and technical aspects. The graphics and overall gameplay could be more polished, with clunky movement and noticeable delays that disrupt a little bit, such as the inability to traverse seemingly accessible paths. Combat is very basic and underdeveloped, and the open-world design and transportation system feel unrefined and uninspiring. Additionally, missable achievements tied to dialogue choices can be frustrating, as wrong decisions permanently lock progress with no option to revisit or correct them. While the game excels in investigation, these issues prevent it from reaching its full potential.

Sherlock Holmes Chapter One is seriously underrated, and I adored it from start to finish. Yes, the combat is weak, but honestly, the rest of the game is so good that it’s very easy to overlook (especially since you can turn combat off entirely). This game knows what it wants to be, and it clearly cares far more about story, atmosphere, and character than anything else. What really stood out to me were Sherlock (“Sherry”) and Jon. I loved this interpretation of them, their dynamic is such an interesting and refreshing approach, and it adds real emotional depth to the story. Absolutely beautiful and well worth playing if you’re here for story and atmosphere.
By far the best Sherlock game I've ever played. Most games can be solved simply by interacting with objects and people often enough. This game is different. There is a complete, beautiful, open city with many extras who seem useless at first glance, but who force you to find not only the right objects but also the right people through clues. This makes solving the cases much more realistic. The fights are really rather poor, but they are optional for anyone who likes them. Frogware has really done a great job here in many ways, and I hope they continue with this approach. What I would really like to see is for their games to also be available on Geforce Now.
