Sherlock Holmes Chapter One

I virtually never play these types of games, my mentality was that this would be a mediocre puzzle game, but it was on sale for maybe a few dollars for their premium edition, so I said "what the hell lets give it a try". I was not expecting a VERY good third person open world detective sim with an awesome 1900s aesthetic somewhere in the UK, with a surprisingly very large map with lots to discover, paired along with a genuinely fantastic mind palace and case solving system. Multiple times I was wracking my brain trying to make connections during different cases, and there's a great amount of cases to work on as well, and pair that with an actual open world? Perfect. The blend is something I've always looked for in a game and had NEVER expected a game that I barely ever hear about pull it off on such an amazing level. I'm also not at all very into the Sherlock lore, but the fact that this game is essentially a reinterpretation of the the story with great changes, mainly replacing Watson with Jon which get's explored through out the story, make's this an amazing alternate adaptation of the work and I truly believe this game is perfect for fans of stories as well as a casual players looking for something original yet fresh as well and a truly slept on gem. I absolutely recommend it!

I love mystery and detective games and Sherlock Holmes was really good for me! I enjoyed the many different mysteries while trying to solve the main mystery as well, great game play and so many different things you can do in between. Only thing i didn't like much was combat on my gaming laptop but that's nitpicky I am not good at aiming using a mouse that's all.

Great Puzzle setup, not too easy not too hard, and great story telling :)

I think this game is incredibly underrated or just a hidden gem! I had so much fun with it! They title had me thinking it would be much shorter then it was because games that usually have Chapter __ in the name usually feel like they would only be a couple hours long but this game was a delight! The prologue was through and any new mechanics were explained well. 20ish hours of solid game play and fun mysteries and some basic combat which was fun. This is my favorite iteration i have seen of Sherlock and Jon so far, Sherlock is young, socially awkward and crass but still caring and Jon is witty, fun and mischievous. I am so excited to play the next game! This one definitely made it into my top 10
