Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

interesting mix of bullet hell + metroidvania + souls genres combined, first run will take around 10-15h and there is enough of hidden stuff/endings to add more hours for 100% completion. Map is interconnected very well letting you to go anywhere you want to from the start with multiple ways to get to different locations while game is also not holding your hand to stop you from entering dangerous places where you arent ready which makes exploration very good and rewarding when you get good items early. Difficulty wise game wasnt too hard for anybody experienced with bullet hells/shmups besides needing to be vary of no invul on hit so multiple bullets can hit you at same time but you do have dodge roll to work around situations like that.
Shell of a King does a great job combining bullet-hell combat with RPG exploration. The world is surprisingly memorable thanks to its strange NPCs and atmosphere even if I have only seen the dank sewers so far. Greg the Narwhal alone deserves recognition. It has some rough edges, but the creativity and gameplay loop easily carried the experience for me. Also being able to see the equipment changes on the main character is awesome. I'm really happy I bought this game. You can definitely tell a lot of love was put into it. I honestly had a blast playing it all the way to the neutral ending, and I'll probably end up going for the rest of the endings. It is pretty difficult but that is to be expected. It is basically a bullet-hell soulsvania after all. Very unique. There is an easy mode for those that would rather try that, but I haven't tried it as achievements are then disabled and I prefer a challenge anyway. The soundtrack for this game is also really nice. The charm system is really cool and offers a lot of build variety. Also I have to mention that the dev for this game gets bonus points for responding super fast when I reached out for help with a certain puzzle. Mad respect for that. But I would most definitely recommend this game. Especially if you like bullet-hells and soulsvanias. Underrated for sure!
Despite some issues, it is very cool game.
