Great game!
This game is fun and I like the story concept. The shop character is funny.
A boring and bland story paired with a colourful but ugly game. Lovely controlling of the platforming and has everything a platformer needs, except for a good game design. Dodgy platforms, terrible map planning and even worse enemy placement. 1.5 Out Of 5 <- Full Review Being Moved, Keep Your Horses Held. Shape Shift Shawn is a fun and charming puzzle game. The game follows the story of Shawn, a shape-shifting creature who must navigate through a series of challenges to find his way back home.
Very fun game, had some funny bits of dialog. The music is LIT, and retro vibes were off-the-charts! It was pretty easy to learn but sufficiently challenging. Would recommend this game to anyone who likes games like Rayman, Mario, and Crash Bandicoot.

A fun twist on a platformer. The transformations are interesting, and there's some fun resource management balancing them and getting all of the collectibles. Absolutely worth checking out, but you should use a controller, the experience is 100% better with one.
Played this game per request of the developer. I only tried the first level and it seems to be a retro-ish platformer which is not the typical game I would play. If you like those types of game I would give this game a try. It has a Halloween inspired story, although the UI had some issues with my ultra-wide monitor and I was unable to read most of the Dialog as it was placed above the screen. There is a windowed mode that I did not try. Again if you like retro and platformer games I see no reason why not to try it.
Alright, i think that this game deserves more love. Pros: -weird and spooky art, funky music, funny sound effects; -nice gameplay overall; -good level design at the most part, making use of the unique abilities of each creature, and stimulating exploration; -accessible and attentive developer. Cons/room for improvements: -some game mechanics are not clear (for example, the fact that the fire, from the red creature, hits enemies from behind too); -more checkpoints are nedded, specially in the latter stages and where new challenges are presented, after long sections; -where specific powers are needed, there should be a dispenser near, or else too much backtracking is nedded in case of death or just getting hit, which depletes the power of the creature in use. A critical example is one of the latter ice stages, which has a room with a key that requires fire to get to it, but the fire dispenser is far away back. Overall, there are enough dispensers; -the power dispensers could refill all the respective gauges in one hit, or at least faster. Jumping repeatedly in order to "pump" the power is a bit silly and tiresome; -the red creature should be able to spit fire during simple jumps, without the need to glide; -there is a bug with the green creature ("unable to get object instance", or something similar), when aiming to attach to a slimy wall, that crashes the game to the desktop. Happened to me half a dozen times; -the hit box of the main dude is too big. He gets hit even in his hair; -in the water stages, the main character shoud have a quick evasive move. Some sections are very slow and frustrating, trying to slooowly dodge flying spikes and fast-approaching fishes (i know that some creatures kill the fishes); -the jump fails in some platforms (i need to get the name of the stage, and in the last boss); -some platforming sections are annoying and claustrophobic. Despite the flaws, i kept coming back, moving on and having fun overall. I wish the best to the developer and this franchise. Can't wait for chapter 2!
Enjoyable twist on the platforming genre! Switching between characters adds a whole new strategic layer to game!
