Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Shadows of Doubt is set in an alternate reality in the hyper-industrialized 1980s. Think like a detective and use a variety of gadgets as a private intelligence investigator, gathering evidence and making money by solving cases, finding and selling information and more.
Play your own way in a fully simulated world with hundreds of citizens. Discover, meet and tail individual citizens, each with their own name, job, apartment and daily routine, in unique, procedurally-generated cities. Each case has different culprits, clues and experiences for you to test your investigative skills.
Explore anywhere in the city! Every nook of every trashy bar, every place of work, every seedy hotel room… This dystopia is your oyster. Break into apartments, rifle through secret documents or hack security systems - even a discarded receipt can be the key to cracking a case. Trace the receipt back to an individual location, scour CCTV footage and match the time up to the receipt to find out who it belonged to!
The entire world is fully simulated. Each citizen has an apartment, job, daily routine, favorite things to do, places to go, and people to interact with. They live out their lives independently, in a world that moves on with or without you— uncover this knowledge and use it to your advantage!
Become a private investigator in a truly unique detective experience. Think like a detective to solve the cases around you: check call histories, find passwords, read private emails, speak to persons of interest, watch CCTV footage and more to retrieve evidence and build your case. Store information on your investigation board and link evidence together as you piece together the ful picture.

This is an absolutely fantastic game! Would definitely recommend.
хорошая игра. оптимизацию бы завести
AN HONEST REVIEW Currently 21 hours in and i have to say, this is a must play. Its not a AAA game, its not flawless, BUT, is it rewarding? Absolutely. Nothing compares solving a classic murder or serial killer case. Could be a stabbing, cultist ritual sacrifice, sniper killer, or someone on their way home from work only to be gunned down in the middle of the street. Find your own leads, ask around for possible witnesses, descriptions of the person of interest or break into their house/job to rummage through their belongings and documents to find a possible clue to the "Who Done It" you have found yourself in the middle of. Now, those cases do not fill ALL of your time. They can take a while to solve or you might just be a regular Sherlock Holmes who solves it in 30-45 minutes. Some cases will take you all over, other times the killer may live just next door or even with them. Sometimes you get one case after another, then you might not have a killer on the loose for a few in game days. -How do you fill your time? Vandalism for hire, Kidnapping / Abduction cases, asset acquisitions, corporate espionage, investigating a cheating spouse, retrieving lost property, etc. At first it seems overwhelming, there is a little bit of a leaning curve, I recommend you watch someone solve some cases on Youtube so you can get the gist. There is a tutorial option when you start a game as well, and it was helpful. Yes there are a few bugs, yes there is some memory leak issue sometimes that causes the game to "slow mo," however that can be fixed if you just google it. Even when i was dealing with it it wasnt a big deal to save, close game and reload because the game truly is a ton of fun. -Is it a dead game? I dont think so, no. I think some people just dont have an idea how challenging the development of something as ambitious as Shadows of Doubt, can be. The dev still put out patches and updates, even in the beta section they put them out. The dev added workshop and went over some of the things they are working on in a recent update note. I will update this as I see fit, if anything changes. As it stands though? I highly recommend, even if not for full price, most certainly on sale. This game and dev show great promise if you have a bit of patience. Who knows what the shadows will have in store for you?
