Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Shadows of Doubt is set in an alternate reality in the hyper-industrialized 1980s. Think like a detective and use a variety of gadgets as a private intelligence investigator, gathering evidence and making money by solving cases, finding and selling information and more.
Play your own way in a fully simulated world with hundreds of citizens. Discover, meet and tail individual citizens, each with their own name, job, apartment and daily routine, in unique, procedurally-generated cities. Each case has different culprits, clues and experiences for you to test your investigative skills.
Explore anywhere in the city! Every nook of every trashy bar, every place of work, every seedy hotel room… This dystopia is your oyster. Break into apartments, rifle through secret documents or hack security systems - even a discarded receipt can be the key to cracking a case. Trace the receipt back to an individual location, scour CCTV footage and match the time up to the receipt to find out who it belonged to!
The entire world is fully simulated. Each citizen has an apartment, job, daily routine, favorite things to do, places to go, and people to interact with. They live out their lives independently, in a world that moves on with or without you— uncover this knowledge and use it to your advantage!
Become a private investigator in a truly unique detective experience. Think like a detective to solve the cases around you: check call histories, find passwords, read private emails, speak to persons of interest, watch CCTV footage and more to retrieve evidence and build your case. Tal vez sea por jugar en Español pero me he encontrado 4 bugs bloqueantes en 5 horas, el último no lo he podido arreglar ni recargando la partida
Such a good concept but so many things do not work properly. Just the air vent crappy rendering with crazy lightning and the lack of any way to get directions make me quit.

Really fun and truly "unlimited" detective experience. However, even so long after launch there are gamebreaking bugs.
DEMASIADO tecnico, muy dificil, te traba que nadie te ayude, incluso el juego por mas que este en modo facil
一直在更新,虽然我不玩,但是很感动
got told to solve murders broke into crime scene and stole stuff started breaking into homes became rich by bashing peoples heads in and corporate espionage 10/10 would commit corporate espionage again
Интересно... Затягивает
I do like this game, ultimately. The vibes are great and the game perfectly nails the atmosphere that it's going for. The first couple hours are great, as you bumble around being a detective and somehow managing to solve cases. Once you play for long enough though, you realize that the game gives you an illusion of depth when the reality is that there's just not much to do, really. Investigation and information gathering is very fun as you're learning the systems and how to be effective, but the game doesn't introduce new complications to switch things up so once you understand how to solve a crime, you're mostly just repeating that process over and over. The AI upfront feels smart, immersive, and reactive, but this too is a smokescreen. You can't have meaningful interactions with anyone and everyone just seems to hate you a lot in particular, and their actual decision making behavior is no smarter than the NPCs from a Bethesda game. But like I said, I do enjoy this game. I enjoy it the same way I enjoy most Bethesda games: Every couple months or so, I launch the game, screw around with the basic systems for a few hours having fun, and then drop it the instant it stops being satisfying. And I can live with a game like that, the question is, can you?
