Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Played for a long time, just isn't a finished game, done every case and used all the upgrades. I've waited to post this hoping the bugs would be fixed or we'd get more content, but nothing. All the other negative reviews are correct, most cases can just hit dead-ends later on in a playthrough. If you get a kidnapping quest GG. Still hoping for the best and say its a fun game to try, just don't expect a full and smooth experience. Achievements have always been bugged for me too which is a huge letdown.

Hey kid, You think about making a living here as a detective? It's kinda bad idea. But it kinda worked out for me in the end, so I guess you can try too. Yep, I'm leaving for the Fields, waiting for my shuttle. Worked hard for my retirement. Advice? This place is a mess. Killings, kidnappings, muggings, corpos, plain nutjobs. You name it. All out there for you to enjoy. So strap yourself in it's going to be a bumpy ride. Get yourself a place to live. Find a nice diner to grab a coffee and a hotdog when you are hungry or thursty during especially long hours. Get to the place of crime sooner than later. Pay attention to details. Check victims cruncher, check victims address book, check the whole place for fingerprints. Ask around. If they were shot look for ammo casings. If they were chopped look for sword. Make notes. It's a strange place really. It's a mess. I don't know why I loved it so much though the whole point was leaving this hole. Lovehate at it's best I guess. Oh there's my shuttle. I sometimes wonder why all the rich guys stay in this dump instead of going to the Fields. Nutjobs... Anyway, time for me to go. Best of luck kid! Stay away from the guns!
This game has a good potential and is still probably the best detective game out there, but it feels half baked and the fact that there are very few major updates makes this factor even greater. The game can be fun at the beginning, although becomes repetitive after some time with the cases being very similar to each other. Some bugs are presents and the NPC behaviour is sometimes very stupid, to say the least.
I really want to like the game, but the ergonomics are atrocious. Most of the challenge is navigating the UI, menus etc. There must be a real game somewhere beyond that, but I haven't found it.
Great atmosphere and some interesting scenarios for solving cases. But it's very buggy, incomplete, and a little weird. A little disappointing. Still, the good outshines the bad. It's an instant classic and there isn't another game like it. But if you expected the developers to make the game better, it's not going to happen. They hit a wall a long time ago and all they've added since is pretty much some vague grind. It needs to be optimized and new features, items, case types, content. Ultimately their vision of nonviolence (in a violent game/city, but you can still beat everyone in town to death) ruined some of the detective mystique. So you'll be out with some killer trying to kill you, and all you can do is pathetically karate chop them. But that's usually good enough, as standing on a table is enough to thwart the AI. I guess, ultimately I had a positive experience with it. It's too bad the developers couldn't figure out what to do with it and gave up pretty early into early access.
Despite long standing performance issues with the game that I hope to see improved someday, this is genuinely one of the most interesting and unique games I've ever played in terms of what it strives to achieve and how it makes you feel. Like any other game that wants to create a realistic simulation of a world, there eventually comes a point where you start to notice the cracks, the quick ways to circumvent certain processes in order to quickly and efficiently solve cases. but before you get to that point the game truly is something magical and can continue to be magical if you feel like putting in the effort to roleplay a little. The game has so many methods of extracting information that it's almost overwhelming at first, but as you get better at the game you really do develop a level of common sense on what sort of things to look out for at crime scenes, things that can be inferred through context. It really does put you in the headspace of a detective. If you're at all interested in the mechanics of the game and can overlook some performance issues, I'd absolutely recommend giving it a shot. how long your interest lasts may vary, but I got a good 100 hours out of it and still find myself coming back from time to time to solve a few cases.
>be me, private detective >solved nearly half a dozen cases >getting close to retirement >"Just one more case" >get called for a murder >sneak past the police >tfw can't find any evidence or murder weapon >tfw the killer gets away with it FIVE MORE TIMES >eventually got sick of dealing with cops, stole their gun and threw it away >next murder isn't a gunshot, but a stabbing >areyoukiddingme.exe Turns out the cop was murdering people, reporting the murder, and guarding the crime scene to try and prevent anyone from figuring it out. I had to go back to the random alleyway I ditched the gun to recover the murder weapon. 10/10, would be the star of my own noir novel again.
a única coisa q faltou para ser perfeito foi uma arma de fogo para se proteção
An amazing game that unfortunately still feels like its in early access. Theres a ton of content and the world can feel incredibly fleshed out but there are still many major bugs and performance issues that need to be fixed.
