Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Shadowrun Returns, developed by Harebrained Schemes and published by Paradox Interactive, stands as a compelling revival of the classic cyberpunk-fantasy universe, blending tactical turn-based combat with a deeply immersive narrative experience. Set in a dystopian near-future where magic and technology intertwine, the game throws players into the chaotic streets of Seattle in the Sixth World—a place where humans coexist with elves, trolls, and orks, all navigating a complex web of corporate power struggles and arcane mysteries. From the outset, the story grabs your attention with a personal tragedy: the murder of your former partner, which sets off a chain of investigations and confrontations that slowly unravel larger conspiracies. This emotional anchor grounds the player in a world that is as harsh as it is fascinating. The gameplay of Shadowrun Returns is rooted in classic isometric, turn-based tactical combat that demands thoughtful strategy and careful planning. Players have the freedom to create and customize their characters from a variety of archetypes—such as Street Samurai, Decker, or Mage—and can tailor skills and abilities to suit diverse playstyles. Whether you prefer to engage enemies head-on with brute force, manipulate the battlefield with magic, or hack into security systems to disable foes remotely, the game supports these approaches with a nuanced action point system and environmental factors like cover and line of sight. Combat encounters often require tactical positioning and judicious use of resources, making each firefight a test of both foresight and adaptability. What truly elevates Shadowrun Returns is its dedication to narrative depth and character development. The game’s writing is sharp, weaving an intricate story filled with morally gray choices and memorable characters. Dialogue plays a pivotal role, allowing players to shape their protagonist’s personality, motivations, and relationships, which in turn influence the unfolding of the plot. The atmosphere is thick with cyberpunk noir aesthetics, where neon-lit streets, shadowy back alleys, and corporate high-rises create a world that feels both gritty and lived-in. The game balances moments of tension with occasional dark humor, making the experience rich and textured beyond just the combat scenarios. However, the game is not without its limitations. One common critique is the relatively linear mission structure and limited number of side quests, which can make the world feel somewhat confined and restrict exploration. Additionally, the save system relies primarily on autosaves and checkpoints rather than giving players manual save options, which can be frustrating for those who wish to revisit certain decisions or experiment with alternate outcomes. The graphics, while stylistically fitting the tone of the game, are functional rather than cutting-edge, and some players might find the environments less varied than expected. Nonetheless, these shortcomings do not severely detract from the overall experience. In sum, Shadowrun Returns is a thoughtful and engrossing tactical RPG that successfully captures the spirit of its tabletop predecessor while providing a modern gaming experience. Its blend of strategic combat, meaningful player choice, and immersive storytelling creates a memorable journey through a richly imagined world where magic and technology collide. While it may lack the breadth of some larger RPGs, its focused narrative and tactical depth ensure that each mission feels purposeful and engaging. For players drawn to cyberpunk themes and tactical role-playing, Shadowrun Returns offers a rewarding and atmospheric adventure worth diving into. Rating: 8/10

Nice to play game with great gameplay and story. Nice setting also. Works great on the steam deck.
Not the most complex or deepest of the RPG genre, but I was totally engaged in my journey through the game. Loved the cyberpunk/fantasy mix, great atmosphere, good characters, and it has an awesome soundtrack. Definitely well worth a playthrough at the very least!
good story worth playing
I was craving for some cyberpunk and turn based combat. I've got all of that plus some plot craziness on the side. Loved every second of it
很遗憾没法体验这游戏的伟大,中文翻译相当糟糕,甚至还有很多错别字。
This game features no achievements on steam despite having them on other planfroms such as Xbox. (and despite the following 2 in the series getting them ... weird) The game's linear as hell. The story is interesting but again, this isn't a movie, it's a video game. You will have the same experience playing an idiot troll with an axe as you will the best decker out there, so go watch someone play on youtube... BONUS... you now have voice acting, which the game is lacking. What little gameplay there is is held back by the ancient system. Overwatch seems useless, just delays your turn.. maybe. *** Spoiler follows: *** By the later 80% of the game you will encounter some enemies that you have exactly 2 rounds to kill them with a very specific weapon. Otherwise they heal up to full and you have to start again... If you didn't put points into those weapons (shotgun in my case) you'll miss and miss ... bad design. Putting some points so late in the game won't work since you have to add points into Dex first, then ranged, then the weapon... and it takes a bunch to get it to decent. *** spoiler end **** They sold this initially as a platform that can allow for multiple expansions and DLC's ... that was a lie. Maybe the engine was developed but guess what, that turned into 2 more games that you have to buy. I'm going to say.. that maybe if you can get the entire trilogy for really cheap... otherwise this game alone for full price, Hell no!
