The unique cyberpunk-meets-fantasy world of Shadowrun has gained a huge cult following since its creation nearly 25 years ago. Now, creator Jordan Weisman returns to the world of Shadowrun, modernizing this classic game setting as a single player, turn-based tactical RPG.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Don't trust on my review i just ran this game for the trading cards.

A top down RTS game that mixes fantasy, SciFi and steam punk with a well rounded story line. The voice is top notch and draws you in. While the story is linear it somehow pulls off a no so linear feel most of the time. I wish more RTS were this good.

The Shadowrun Trilogy sat in my library for years. As a cRPG fan, I always knew I had to play it, but with real-life responsibilities and so many great games out there, time is always limited. I am incredibly glad I finally gave it a shot. I knew going in that this first game is widely considered the weakest of the trilogy, though still a solid experience if you like the genre. To set expectations: do not expect any voice acting. You will need to do a lot of reading, though it is still much less text-heavy than other traditional cRPGs. If you want to follow the narrative, expect to spend time reading through what I found to be genuinely good dialogue. Character creation and progression are straightforward and not overly complicated. Don't expect the depth of a Pathfinder or Pillars of Eternity game. The combat reminded me a lot of XCOM or Wasteland. It feels quite simple, but it remains highly enjoyable throughout. From a technical standpoint, I ran into no major issues. The game even plays nicely with super-ultrawide aspect ratios, which is a rare treat for an older title (and sadly, even some newer ones!). I really liked the story, the characters, the background music, and the beautiful cyberpunk, neo-noir isometric landscapes. While the plot might not be top-tier, it is told well and easily kept me engaged until the credits rolled. Overall, I highly recommend this game if you love cRPGs or are a fan of the cyberpunk setting. Just don't go in expecting high production values or overly complex mechanics. It's a tight, atmospheric ride.
This was pretty good overall. I played through the main campaign as a dwarf mage split focus in shotguns. The setting is pretty cool, maybe a bit too reference heavy, which is a bit odd if like me, you're not the most accustomed to Shadowrun lore. At the same time, it's not too subtle, a lot of the writing around said characters not very subtle in a way that makes it pretty obvious they are pre established in the setting. Beyond that small complaint, everything else about the setting and premise is pretty fun. The plot jumps around in focus in some odd ways, but it's enjoyable...but the latter stages do have a larger number of grammatical issues and typos, as if the dev team just stopped carrying about proof reading as much near the end of development. The gameplay is ok enough, if a bit simple. I just played on the default normal difficulty for a first run through and found the game pretty easy. If the game was any longer I could actually see the game getting pretty boring due to the simplicity of the combat mechanics, so take that as you will. Thankfully it did not overstay it's welcome.
SR is a very high quality wrpg with an X-Com style battle system. Its a little on the short side which I wouldn't normally object to except that there are entire skill trees dedicated to charisma and decking that have very minimal impact due to the limited opportunities a short duration present; there are a handful of times where multiple solutions to a challenge are presented given your stat distribution, attention and creativity, but again, few and far between. There is an incredibly high attention to detail in this game and some truly excellent character writing. Its world-building is crazy and disparate. The story goes from gritty and hard-boiled street crime to saving the world from trans-dimensional alien bugs that tether themselves via magic. And it just works. And that's why you should play SR; its an experience that will stick with you.
