8.0/10 Man oh man this brings back memories from a lifetime ago. Back in the day when I was like 18 my friend had shadowrun on his NES. I borrowed it from him, and I was completely enamored with the world. I have had this one and the 2nd part for a few years now but never beat them. I also didn't realise there was a 3rd one released in 2015 - so I grabbed that today with the goal of beating all 3 of them. The writing is superb and it just sets the mood like the original game did for me all those years ago. Sometimes, the older games are better than the newer slop they are releasing. Of course you have to be able to read to play this, so that might limit the playing field ...if you get what I am saying LOL Game on my friends. Don't overlook these older titles, they have heart, soul, and creativity in abundance!
Fun Story and interesting RPG, magic punk feel. I'd say the story is the driving factor here, so lots of reading involved, which isn't necessarily for everyone.

Great tactical RPG in the Shadowrun setting. The story is engaging and the missions are interesting. If you are looking for a blend of tactical combat, cyberpunk, and magic - this one is for you.

Если вы ищете здесь RPG с интересным сюжетом и разнообразной ролевой отыгровкой, вы её здесь не найдёте. Забайтился на положительные отзывы игры. Общая оценка 4/10 за пару забавных моментов и неплохой визуальный стиль.
great game , good story with nice plot some twist , very good art style and a well built sci-fi ambiance. it's a relatively short Role playing experience but a well paced game , well written dialogues and enjoyable turn based combats.

Shadowrun Returns is a relatively linear RPG set in the tabletop RPG world of Shadowrun which mixes cyberpunk and fantasy in a rare combination. The mechanics are based off of the table top and are solid. The story is interesting and pretty dark. Your choices won't matter too much in terms of the outcomes, but they lend character to your.... character. The game is rather short for an RPG, took me around 12h to complete, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. I reccommend getting it!

I really enjoyed playing this. Gameplay is solid and story is interesting with fine conclusion (those final dialogues are great). Graphics are nice. There are some downsides like item management, linearity and a bit tedious final act (missing with Aegis twice means you will basically repeat last two turns), but for me it hit that nostalgia for old cyberpunk pen and paper RPGs better than Cyberpunk 2077. Looking forward to other two Shadowrun games.
Cool story and setting but everything else, especially gameplay, was boring and subpar.
